Resolved Question: I don't get it, how should I feel, my friend.... dissapointment.... dentist.....?
I went to the dentist today, and it was beond pain. I hate to seem so negative, but while he was drilling and such, the numbing stuff wore compleatly off. I went the day before yesterday, for the other side of my mouth, but today when he numbed me, I was shaking like mad. It scared me. So I had an 1.5 hour appointment, and I had to stay there 3 hours. I felt sick, sad, and tourchered. I don't hate the dentist though..... So I came home in tears, I don't know why, I think all the physical pains of my life time (and there are A LOT) came back to me. Yesterday, my friend and I went to go see Margret Peterson Haddix (shadow children books, running out of time......) the author at this small shop in Idaho. She was trapped in a snowstorm in denver. So we were going to come today, it was a stretch because my friend and I have a dance class right before, and we were going to be late, but go anyway. (I am REALLY sorry this is soooo long) Right now I don't feel up to it. Honestly... I feel sick, and no way okay. I told her about it really quick, because she had to go. Right before she hung up, she was nearly in tears, and when I asked why she said "I've been dissapointed twice inthe past 2 days." I hung up, but then understood what she said. I know I did the right thing. I haven't been in contact with the concious world lately, ever since my dentist appointment 2 days ago. I knew the first one hurt enough, and then I told her the numbing didn't work on this one. Shouldn't she be a bit more sympathetic, and not tell me about her dissapointment? We are the best of friends, closer than chineese twins I would say. We are the closest you can get, and have only fought once in *counts* 3-5 years. I luv her so much, but..... How should I feel, I know it's a strange question, but..... Okay, for not understanding here's the simplest way IN OTHER WORDS I just went through alot of pain, and my friend still is telling me she is dissappointed at me because I couldn't take her to see an author that I wanted more than anything to see. HERE is the question. I wish I could go through and format all of that above...... Shouldn't she be a bit more sympathetic, and not tell me about her dissapointment? (more...)
