Without delving into the details, I owe my University $1300. The amount was supposed to be covered by my financial aid, however I do not have access to my financial aid until I pay the $1300. Asking my parents is not an option. My only option, I believe, is some sort of short term loan. What are the different types of short term loans, interest rates, and places to get the short term loan? Once I have the loan, I will have the money to pay the $1300, and will then gain access to financial aid money which can then be used to pay off the loan(most likely in one lump sum, within a month-month and a half). I'm in the Dallas, TX area. I'm not sure of my credit rating, or if I have any at all. I have a checking/savings account with Wells Fargo bank. I do not have much for colatteral, except for maybe my car and I am very reluctant to use that. (more...)

Lately, I have been suffering rather extreme stress... I've had many loved ones die, cancer scares and my boyfriend on 1 and a half years cheated on me.... and I'm only a teenager :( lol Lately I have been losing allot of weight, at first I thought it was normal seeing as I've been through allot... but now.. I have lost way too much weight! In such a short amount of time too! I am eating! However, lately after I have a proper sized meal I feel like I am going to throw up! I am not anorexic or bulimic or anything! I love food! haha Another strange symptom I have is that I have started to sleep all the time! I was always good at sleeping in... but now, when I get home at 4 I just go straight to bed, wake up eat dinner (and attempt to keep in down) then I feel exhausted and go back to sleep again. So basically in every spare moment I am sleeping! I also have a killer headache.. 24/7! and it's really effecting my school work and the way I talk to people.. (as you may have noticed from this terribly worded question!) I have also gone really pale... Even though I have olive skin.. I look pretty vampire-like... I also am having discomfort when I go to the bathroom... I also have started to become really weak! I always was really sporty, I ride for Hong Kong etc, but today in P.E. I could barley hold a stretch! I am really worried because I have a big event this weekend! I think thats about it... I am really sorry, I sound neurotic here! lol thank you and please help :( I am going to the doctors tomorrow but I really wanted to ask what you thought first... i'm 17 and go to a community college and last year, i watched the 3 kids of a family i know about 3 times a week. but for the past 4 months, its just been the occasional job with them. yesterday i just got out of class and i get a call from the mom saying "i don't know whats wrong with me, i'm sick to my stomach, and i can't keep my eyes open. husband will be home in an hour, but can you come and watch J - 4 year old- so i can go to bed". i said sure, be there in 2 seconds. i stayed with J, husband came home with the other 2 kids from school, he went in with her and i helped the kids get started on homwork and dinner, etc. then she comes out and asks how much she owes me. i was kinda shocked. i mean, it was an hour at most. i told her "nothing" would you have offered to pay for that short amount of time? My keyboard is a Saitek PC Gamers' keyboard. I accidentally spilled a small amount of water on the escape key. It has LED lighting in the back of it and has a cover in it over the lights. But, the lights shorted out and now some keys are being dumb. Like, I'll press 2 on the number bar and it will bring up F2. and 1 will give me ~. How would i be able to fix it? (more...)

Should I end this friendship now or should I wait until after I graduate? I have a friend who makes me feel very uncomfortable. She is rude, controlling, and judgemental. She nags and critisizes what I do, as well as others. I don't even want to be friends with her anymore, but the problems is, she's everywhere. She is better friends with all of my friends, she in most of my classes, and attends the same events . I'm going to try to switch classes and I've already dropped activites to get away. Now my original plan was to wait until I graduated to cut off all contact, but since current events, I'm feeling more strongly about ending the friendship now. So I failed to attend her birthday events because of a family event I was already committed to, I went to her partner's house to celebrate New Years Eve and she was rude when I gave her the present that I got her. She kept asking me if I bought the seperate items, she actually questioned whether the card I got for her was paid for in a store, and had this look on her face like she didn't believe me. She never said thank you, and she acted irritated with me. I know the gift wasn't amazing but come on, you can still smile and say thanks. Moving on, we had a couple of drinks, and maybe I tell you that we all drank the same amount. She went on during the night acting like she didn't have a sip and treated me like I was drunk and incapable of doing anything. She spoke to me like I was a child and kept directing me. I felt like I was being judged the entire time and I kept thinking in my head, "I want to leave, I want to get away from her." We went back to her house (along with several other people) to sleep. The next day, I sent her and the people who were there messages to see how they were feeling, to make sure they were okay, I thought I was just being nice. In response, she had her partner sending me messages telling me how I was doing disgusting things in my sleep, I mean disturbing. At first I thought it was a joke, because I actually couldn't sleep that night and I remember tossing and turning, but this person was being serious and was also rude about it. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, to a point where it was physically affecting me and I was feeling sick and had trouble sleeping the following nights. I haven't talked to any of those people since. I think it was a very weird thing to say, and also cruel because obviously she told other people if they were telling me about it, but even if I had done the things they accused me of, wouldn't it be strange to bluntly just tell someone and stop talking? It wasn't a "you were acting really weird last night, what's wrong with you?" or anything like that. And I know I hadn't done those things because I was awake the whole night mainly because the people in the room we slept in were snoring. I also made a point of saying that those things never happened and that it was a very strange thing to say to me, but I got to response. It shows me that this girl whom I call my "friend" doesn't really care about my feelings and I'm dreading seeing her again. That night and the messages just really turned my views around. I really don't believe she can or will change. Long story short, do you think that I should end the friendship now, or should wait until I graduate this June and go our seperate ways? (more...)

Ok so I'm 14 and the truth is that I do love sports...I have a huge problem though ...I have horrrrirble problems with my knees and joints!!!this makes it so I can't play sports any longer because I am not able to attend school the next day after practice because I am unable to even walk. I always ask my mom to take me to the doctors but I think were a little short on money so my mom doesn't want to pay for like a health plan so she never listens to me when I say I need to see a doctor! I'm in a huge dilema because since I can't get out and do stuff like sports I have to find other hobbies..so I started playin video games and dirtbiking.... I can dirtbike for an amount of time then I get bored and go play some xbox. The problem is the only friends I really have( don't have too many) are always making fun of me for playing alot of video games And not sports. I try to explain to them and they jsut do y listen. I somtimes ignore them but. I have no one to talk to then.my life is completlry ruined because of my disability and my mom not wanting to tale care of it.WHAT SHOULD I DO??????!!! My husband and I are going to hopefully be buying a home within the next year. We pulled our credit report up today to see where we stand and to dispute a few errors (identity theft, ugh). Anyways, we saw a deliquint account for a medical bill for $68. I remember that visit, it was for my daughter and she had Medi-Cal at the time so I don't see why it wasn't paid in full. I want it off of my credit report completely, Should I: 1) Go to Medi-Cal and talk to them about the bill, they will pay for it, I already verified that she indeed have insurance through them and is willing to pay in full. They claimedit must have been a filing/or computer error of some sort. 2) Ask them to pay for deletion. It's only $68. I have been reading that it is unlikely they will pay for deletion because of ther small amount. I am scared that if Medi-Cal pays or I pay that it wont get off of my account. What should I do? I don't want it just sitting there, I want it gone!!! It's only a year old. I already spoke to Medi-Cal, they said, bring in the bill and they will pay, they said it happens all the time. Will paying for deletion still effect my credit negatively? This was an honest error not on my part. I'm not exactly sure how it works, I only started looking into it today. If someone can give me specifics on it, that would be great. Like does it still show on your report or does it kinda disapear, like it never existed? Does my score go up a bit then if it disapears?
