Resolved Question: Who is your prediction for the NCAA Football National Championship/?
Although I am a student at Penn State, and love Penn State football, I can tell all over campus that they are too cocky and taking this Iowa game too soft....I really think we may lose to Iowa....I really hope it doesnt happen....but for some reason, i have seen this happen to many schools in the past....like WVU and USC losing last year and everything....because they were cocky...
My prediction
Florida over Oklahoma
I think Penn State loses to Iowa...and beats USC in Rose Bowl
I think Alabama loses to Florida in SEC Championship
I think Texas Tech loses at Oklahoma
I think TCU beats Utah, leaving Boise St. as the only undefeated team because I think Ball St loses down the line too
What do you all think????

Resolved Question: Can I get financial aid for this year?
I am so confused by FAFSA. Heres my story: I've been a part time college student for a year getting enough credits to switch to full time. I did that at the end of the last semester, but I was told it was too late for me to apply for financial aid for the Fall semester.
But I just went on the Fafsa website and its telling me that the deadline for applications for the 2008-2009 school year is June 30, 2009.
I'm so confused, can I apply for financial aid for this year? I live in Idaho and attend Boise State University.

I'm interested in studing the basque language and culture because my last name came from that language and it's so inturiging , the problem is there isn't any universitys in san diego yet alone in California that teach Basque. So I search, It's down to 2 universitys
-University of Nevada, Reno

My senior year in high school is starting after this summer. I want to Major in either in history, forgin language or Linguistics both universities offer basque studies as a minor so i'm not sure which university suits me better, Thanks

Resolved Question: I can't take this baby any longer. I am being pushed off the edge...?
I need some advice. I am a college student at Boise St. Me and my friend were experimenting one time and ended up with a baby. I am struggling taking care of it. I am a chemistry student and spend many nights in the lab. Only to come home to my crying infant. My friend takes night courses in pharmecudicals leaving me with the stupid baby. I really can't take her (the baby) any more. She will not stop crying. I have have infanticidal thoughts and hope i would never go through with them. Somebody please help me. I think that asking unknown sources over the internet may help more than my friend's advice. Me and her are being pushed to the edge with this baby. I really am sick of hearing it cry and scream nonstop. I have had voilent thoughts in the past. Help me please.

BOISE, Idaho - A student was arrested and security tightened at a southern Idaho high school in a week of racial tension that began when a teacher confiscated the Mexican flag of a student celebrating Cinco de Mayo.
Student protests and counterprotests, faculty sanctions, desecration of Mexican and American flags and threats of legal action have rocked Minico High School in Rupert, a town of 5,600 people near the Snake River.
As a precaution, security was increased Friday when about 40 students planned a protest over school administration treatment of two teachers at the center of the controversy.
During the demonstration, a male student was arrested after being accused of threatening violence on school grounds, Minidoka County sheriff's Deputy Vic Watson said.
"It was a verbalization that he made that upset other students," Watson said.
No other arrests or disturbances were reported before classes ended for the weekend, authorities said.
Emotions rose Monday when Clint Straatman, a physical education teacher, threw in the garbage a Mexican flag brought to school by Froylan Camelo, 16, to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, a celebration of Mexico's victory over the French army in 1862.
Straatman said he was trying to prevent any animosity between white and Hispanic students, who account for nearly 40 percent of enrollment in the Minidoka County Joint School District.
Contacted by the American Civil Liberties Union, Camelo said he was considering whether to sue the teacher. The next day, Hispanic students protested and drew a counterprotest from some of their non-Hispanic classmates.
Later in the week, Dan Luker, who teaches English as a second language, reportedly damaged an American flag in front of a school administrator. Some said he acted in retaliation to Straatman's behavior and a show of support for the schools Hispanic students.
"We have asked the whole matter be investigated," Prosecutor Nicole Cannon told The Associated Press on Friday. "They are somewhat connected."
Both teachers have been placed on administrative leave, but emotions among students remained high.
School officials would not comment on disciplinary measures, citing a policy barring discussion of personnel matters, adding that the investigation of Straatman was continuing.
Hispanic and non-Hispanic students also traded words throughout the week, freshman Nes Ramirez said, adding that he and others received a text message stating: "Go back to Mexico."
Ramirez, 15, helped organize the protest Friday morning, also using text messages and urging supporters to wear the red, green and white colors of the Mexican flag.
Some protests during the week drew a mix of students, but the message Friday was directed at the school district's response.
Ben Reed, a personality on local Spanish station KFTA-AM, urged students earlier in the week to silently protest by wearing colors of the Mexican flag.
"I believe it was an injustice," Reed said. "I would have hoped it would have been resolved a lot sooner."

Resolved Question: Searching for the dreamy boy at Music Week 2008!!!!!!!!?
So my little sister goes to Borah, and is in choir. At Music Week on April 25th she saw the most beautiful man she had ever laid eyes upon. She was too shy to speak to him, so all she could do was sneak up behind him and smell him (and evidently he smells fantastic).
She now is desperate to find out more about him. All she knows at this point is that he is a Boise High School student, he is in choir, that he is in the all city high school orchestra, and that he plays the bass.
He has long (a little past shoulders) wavy brown hair, great eyebrows, and lovely high cheekbones. We don't know his height, but he was taller than sister, who is 5 ft 9. He sat in the blue seats next to a few other Boise students, and during the concert he had to run back and forth between the choir and orchestra.
He might be in High Expectations choir at Boise High (she saw him at festival at the Borah auditorium in April as well.)
Any and all information would be much appreciated. Name, age...anything!!
