Open Question: Would Obama have approved of this?
http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2009/01/reports-hospita.html#uslPageReturn
Workers at a Jersey City hospital threw the body of a baby out with the trash, prompting investigators to launch a search of landfills in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, local news organizations report.
The Jersey Journal says there's some dispute as to whether the baby was stillborn. (ABC News says there's a significant legal distinction, as a stillborn isn't a person under state law.)
Either way, the paper says hospital officials acknowledged that the body of Bashere Moyd Jr. should have been in the morgue, not the dump, when a funeral home sent someone to Christ Hospital.
"This baby has to be found," Michael Anise, a lawyer who represents the mother, Kalynn Moore, tells the paper. "We want to have the child back. My client is absolutely astonished and in dismay. She wants closure. We have to find this baby."
The hospital tells WCBS-TV "we hope to bring this unfortunate situation to a resolution as soon as possible."

Resolved Question: Again,, with a good link.. are these numbers correct?
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2008-12-28-bordercrossings_N.htm
No nasty thoughts ... they come from Chertoff who head homeland security. On my last post, the address somehow got screwed up so on this one.. I am sure it is correct. And are the numbers correct???
I just checked the link... it is correct.

Or.. the above can be used.
Fewer illegal immigrants caught sneaking into U.S.

By Thomas Frank, USA TODAY
EL PASO ? The number of people caught trying to sneak into the USA from Mexico is at its lowest level since the mid-1970s, signs of tougher enforcement and a weaker U.S. economy, officials say.
The Border Patrol caught 705,000 people along the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal year 2008, which ended Sept. 30, according to new agency figures. That's nearly 2,000 a day and the lowest number since 1976, when 675,000 people were caught entering illegally between San Diego and southern Texas, the figures show.
The Border Patrol has long used the number of apprehensions as an indicator of how many people try to cross U.S. borders illegally. The latest figures show that recent step
they come here to WORK!.......... Well... not exactly. The CSI reports tell us they come to collect welfare, but that will be another post.

Open Question: Are these number correct?
Fewer illegal immigrants caught sneaking into U.S.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2008...
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said in a Dec. 19 speech that there's been "a collapse in the number of people who come across the border illegally."
Chertoff cited a weaker U.S. economy and "tough enforcement," including the addition of 6,000 Border Patrol agents since 2006 and the construction of 526 miles of fence along the U.S.-Mexico border since 2007. About 97% of illegal border crossers enter through Mexico, and about 90% are Mexican, Border Patrol figures show.
I will be back with the correct numbers. ALL of my posts have been diddled with and far to frequently, simply lost. In any case, Chertoff provided those figures and it can be google.

Resolved Question: Why is it that Jewish settlements in Palestine are still used in arguments?
They are irrelevant. Israel no longer supports any of them. They stopped funding them long ago, and they take military action against the settlements.
So, why do people still use them as an argument? Is that all they can think of against Israel?

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-hebron5-2008dec05,0,4200190.story
So, will you continue using old news to support your argument?
I support Israel.
Me3za, how is Israel continuing hatred around the world when even before Israel was a state, the Palestinians attacked the Jews.
What did the Jews do then? Are you sure the Palestinians don't always think this way?
Maybe stopping funding doesn't stop the settlements, but military raids. So what do you say about that? When Israel doesn't do anything, you talk bad about Israel. When they actually try stopping the settlements, you still manage to talk bad about Israel. So why is that?
Okay, i am choosing Mathew's answer as the best since he isn't anti-semitic like all of you out there.

Resolved Question: Anyone like watching Unsolved Mysteries?
I LOVE it, & old episodes w/ Robert Stack are classic.
http://wwwimage.cbsnews.com/images/2003/05/15/image554063x.jpg
But now they've brought it back w/ a new host. Character actor Dennis Farina
http://images.usatoday.com/life/_photos/2006/06/15/farina.jpg
The stories are still engaging, but I'm not sure Dennis Farina cuts it as the narrator/host. He's lacking that creepy presence & delivery Stack had. Maybe it's the tone of his voice that doesn't match somehow.
What do you think? It's on now :)
Even the new music isn't scary anymore. It's too "jazzed" up.

Voting Question: Why are there so many fat people in Houston?
You ever notice how many fat people are in this town, what's up with that? anyone know? every time you ask someone what's there to do in Houston, they always tell you about a good place to eat!? WTF?
http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2003-01-01-cities-usat_x.htm
geez, when I was in Florida I remember how everyone, guys and girls were so athletic and everyone looked good, women we're always in bathing suits and short skirts. All most everyone woman you see in Houston is always wearing jeans, god how disgusting that is, I thought mostly lesbians wear jeans but not in Houston right? I guess that explains why Houston is also rated as the one the top ten worst dating cities in the US.
