Resolved Question: Why does it take so long to award a Hero the Medal of Honor?
Audie Murphy got his Medal of Honor pretty quickly for his actions in WWII, right?
So why did it take from November 14, 1965, until 2007 for Captain Ed W. Freeman to receive his Medal of Honor for his heroic actions of saving 30 men in Vietnam.
So you know, Medal of Honor Recipient Ed Freeman died Wednesday, Aug. 20th, 2008 at the age of 80, in Boise, ID.
This article says Lyndon Johnson should have given Too Tall Ed the Award, but didn't.
Why didn't he? Why was George W. Bush the one to Honor Ed?

Resolved Question: Do the Oklahoma Sooners suffer from 'Millenium Curse'?
Oklahoma opened the new Millenium with the National Championship- shutting out the supposedly unbeatable FSU Seminoles in probably the greatest defensive performance in Championship Game history.
Then.....
2001-Jason White who was going to be the next Steve Young with his mobilty and throwing ability, blows out his knee.
2002- White blows out his OTHER knee.
2003- White re-tooled as an immobile pocket passer breaks his foot and throwing hand in the Big-12 Championship game. Stoops refuses to bench his Heisman QB for the Championship Game. Sooners dominate physically at the line, but lose game at LSU.
2004- A graduation depleted OU goes up against a paid pro team in USC and gets whupped bad. NCAA turns a blind eye to their biggest earner's cheating.
2006- OU plays Boise with Peterson and Malcolm Kelly injured, and a converted WR playing QB. Lose on a couple of miraculous trick plays.
2007- OU plays bowl game missing 6 out of their best 8 players. Gets beat badly by WVU.
2008- Predicted to be the best team until all three superstar Juniors (Curtis Lofton, Reggie Smith, Malcolm Kelly) jump to the NFL.
Pre-season Defensive Player Of The Year- Auston English injured almost all year.
Team leader and Butkus Award favorite- Ryan Reynolds goes down for the year during Texas game. Team deflates, Sooners lose. His good replacement goes down 4 games later.
Probable future Heisman Trophy winner- DeMarco Murray gets injured on opening kickoff of Big-12 Championship Game. Thought to be non-serious, turns out to be season ending.
What the hell else can happen to the Sooners at Bowl time EVERY year? This is getting to be like the 'Curse of the Bambino' or something?
The worst part is those SEC hacks that claim Oklahoma chokes instead of realizing that they always play these bowl games without their best guys. The evidence is that during the season, OU crushes teams that crush their teams in Bowl Games.
To put this in the proper perspective, Florida would have to play without Tebow and Spikes to make this even.

Big-12 doesn't run anyways? LOL! That what we are famous for! Oklahoma is the greatest running team of all-time!

Injuries yes, always having you very best guys get injured at Bowl time- NO!
Oklahoma played the Big-12 Championship without Murray who is Much more valuable than Harvin. Florida has three or four fast little midgets like Harvin- they are interchangable.

Resolved Question: Who will be Mr. Man's version of Hockey-ville 2008?
We have run a yearly video game hockey tournament since 1995. We started a spoof of the NHL's Hockeyville last year and the winner was Boise, Idaho. We're running the same competition again this year. There is no prize, just bragging rights for whoever wins although being not many people know about it so that's not really much of an incentive either... Enjoy! (-:

The Buckeyes had a shot at history in trying to become the first team to ever win three straight outright Big Ten titles, while also trying to reach the national championship game for the third consecutive season.
Instead, the Buckeyes won a share of the title but weren't even assured of a BCS bowl.
The Bucks crossed their fingers for Oregon to beat Oregon State. But that might not be enough. (**OSU, not a powerhouse, what can one say?? That trophy when won is bull$hit for the likes of a Fiesta Bowl)
Fiesta Bowl officials are considering a pairing of at-large teams Utah and Boise State, both undefeated, as one of many options.
Ohio State's past BCS showings haven't helped the Buckeyes' appeal..OUCH!!

Resolved Question: Do I have a clean driving record?

I'm 19 years old, and I live in Boise, Idaho.
I've had my license since I was 15.
When I started off, you could say I had a rough start, 5 tickets, 2 accidents, and 4 license suspensions.
My last infraction/suspension was on December 14, 2005.
In 7 days, it will be December 14, 2008.
That's 3 years with no infractions.
Does that give me a clean driving record?
Or no?

My suspensions are all done, my driver's license isn't expired. They were all done in 2005. I've had nothing since 2005.
