Resolved Question: handicappers help me on these 3 bowl games?
ok I cant pick a side on these 3 think you can argue either way GT/LSU- WM/RICE Maryland/NEV so I think easier to go GT UNDER Rice OVER NEV OVER no one is hotter than GT and LSU has fallen - but LSU will at least bring their A game GT is not gonna run for 500 and score 40 and LSU never had an O all season - I think this is a 24-20 kind of match either way - besides last 2 games for GT kind of AVG away from home NEV/Mary - mary doesnt stop run well - NEV - worst pass D in NCAA - usually when its wac vs acc in boise for a bowl game its a shootout - I think both are jekyl and hyde all season either could win - but I cant see this being Low scoring - even if maryland doesnt want to be there Rice/WM - Rice is great O but one of worse D in NCAA - Rice cant be stopped -Clement and his WR's should get to 40 but I dont see how Wmichign cant play keep up - this one goes right to wire Rice should win on paper - but D wins games - so it wouldnt be the biggest shocker of bowl if WM got the upset Let me know your thoughts on these 3 :) (more...)

Voting Question: Which teams do YOU think will go to a BCS bowl game?
correction i 4got to add on ACC team so i think its gonna be a decision between Boise State and Ohio State to get the finals BCS game but i think Ohio State will get it (o and people who say georgia tech will win the ACC its impossible because tech cant go to the ACC game cuz of boston college) read more i know theres still more games to be played like USC vs UCLA and SEC and Big 12 championship etc. but my question is what teams do u think will make it to a BCS bowl game? including the title game and the other 4 BCS bowl games. in no particular order these are the teams i think will make it to a BCS game (and i think these teams should make it to the NCAA playoffs which they need to make!!) make sure u make a list of the 10 teams u think will make it to a BCS game! - Alabama - Florida - Penn State - Ohio State - Cincinnati - USC - Oklahoma - Texas - Utah - Boston College now i know Texas Tech is unfairly be left out but u can only pick 2 teams from each conference, and others r saying only 1 mid-major should make it so boise state and utah both shouldnt get in but i think they both deserve it after go undefeated. Resolved Question: Hawaii vs. Boise State...whats your pick?
Okay Boise State is obviously gonna win this one, so that's not really question. But the spread has been pretty steady at 24 to 25 in favor of Boise St. The Warriors have played well their last couple games, granted the teams weren't Boise St Caliber, but do you think Hawaii can beat the spread or is BSU gonna cover? As usual, i 'ld like some input as to why you pick who you pick. Best answer to the one with the right pick before the game starts. Throw in the total points for a tie breaker. o/u is 51 and the popular pick is with the under if u need some help deciding. okay, books are closed, kick off in one hour. The best pick will be decided between G.O.A.T. and Allan because G.O.A.T. was the only one to pick Hawaii and Allan is the only one that followed the tie breaker rules and put a total score. Resolved Question: WHy is USC still in the top 5?
why is USC still in the top 10 after losing to an unranked team that PSU blew out a few weeks before? and also why is Oklahoma still in the top 5 after losing to a top 5 team? Ohio State lost to the #2 team and dropped like 10 spots. Oklahoma barely moved. Everyone always talks about OHio state not "winning the big one" what about Oklahoma? you guys got spanked by USC a few years ago, outcoached by boise St, whipped by WVU and are a top 5 team every year but always seem to lose. WHy is that sooner fans? Most ppl forget that OSU scored on the first play against FL in the chamionship game with the kick off. Ted Ginn got hurt on that play and it threw them off their game plan. If he had been healthy who knows what could have happened. Last year was not a blow out. I doubt that a 14 pt win constitutes a "blow out" and LSU scored at the end of the game when it was already pretty much decided. WHy all the criticism of Ohio State? Ohio State also lost its Heisman trophy QB, top 2 receivers and defensive players not to mention its starting running back. I said well dont Tressel for even getting them TOO the title game with new starters. as for the "weak schedule" of course they were going to have a slighly easier schedule all the starters were gone.! The would be stupid too have the most complex schedue in the nation. USC is in the WOST conference in college football. besides a team they beat w/o their starting tell back in Ohio STate, who have they beaten? and everyone says OSU isnt that good (and they are not the best team in college), that win shouldn't even count. They have played no one. every team in The big 12 has a harder schedule than USC. With their lost to an unranked team i dont see how they could possibly been in the top 10 considering how they lost that game as well. It wa only a touchdown difference but USC was dominated completely throughout that game. Also, Oklahoma has lost more "big Games" then OSU. why isnt it's coach on the "hot seat"? give me a break! and for USC. You guys always have the top touted players from all over the country every year and seem poised to win the title every year, but they always lose to some sloopy teams. Why is that? Stanford last year, Oregon State this year. Who is next? I wanna know why Ohio State is out of the top 10. yes the got their butt kicked my USC but they did not have their best player in Beanie wells. and now with a change at QB the team is coming along well.Oklahoma is an excellent team no doubt but those biased sports writers will always have them at the top, my problem is they are never consistent. they Always lose win it counts. LSU didnt even deserve to be in the title game last year Georgia did. They were right behind osu and should have been there all because of a rule that did not exist. "didnt win their conference champion" oh shut the heck up. now watch this year FL and Texas will be there and neither will win the conference championship. just watch...and this is coming from a Hurricane fan!~ (more...)

I am looking for sayings I can put on a poster. I'm all for the U of O Ducks and have season tickets to the games and my new tradition is to bring a poster with a saying on it... Example : when Oregon played Boise State I had a poster that said "Buck the Broncos"... And someone told me one for USC " University of Spoiled Children" But we don't play them this season. Team Dumps Logo Near Buttocks After 70-0 Loss BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Vandals football team is dumping the letter "I" from the buttocks region of players' new pants following a season-opening 70-0 loss to the Arizona Wildcats. Rob Spears, the school's athletic director, says nobody realized just how the logo placed in the center of the players' behinds would look before they tried their pants on. Spears told the Idaho Statesman the sewn-in University of Idaho logo has since been hastily removed by equipment managers after complaints. Spears says there was a miscommunication with equipment supplier Nike over the placement of the logo. "I was disappointed with the look and the appearance," Spears says. "It's changed." Resolved Question: I need help with a probation violation!?
Hello, I am 23 years old and I live in Boise, Idaho. About 1 1/2 years ago, I got busted for writing 2 bad checks. There were more (long story), however, I only got busted on 2 of them. The courts put me on unsupervised probation for a year and told me to pay my fines. I set up a payment plan and I paid 30 dollars a month. After about 3 months of paying, I ended up homeless and very ill. I was in and out of the hospital. I lost my job, and the only cash I could aquire went towards medications. Well, my probation was set to end on may 31st of this year, and it did. However on the 27th they put out a PV warrant for my arrest due to unpaid fines. I talked to the prosecuting attorney, and he let me pay my fines off in exchange for him dropping the warrant. I paid, the warrant was dropped, but I still need to go to a Probation violation hearing on the 20th. This will be my second time in the courtroom, ever. However, I have moved. I now live 23 miles away from the courthouse, and I have no way to make it there. My public defender said he was going to try to get it resolved out of court, and he will not call me. I don't know whats going on. I can't talk to the prosecutor anymore, and my public defender refuses to call me back. I leave many messages on his phone each day. I simply can not make it there for health and transportation issues. I do have a job that is going to be starting on the 21st. I am also doing online college courses and am on my way to a better life. I am low-income at this point, so I will also be getting housing soon. I am scared I am going to jail. I do not know what is going to happen. At my initial court trail, for the bad checks, the agreement was that if I got a PV then I would go to jail for 90 days. (90 days suspended) I am freaked out, and no one will answer my questions. What do you think will happen in court? Jail time or ? I understand that this is pretty minor seeing as how I have my fines paid, but they were paid late so it is a legit PV. I have 4 days left before court. I want o get it resolved before then, but even my public defender will not call me back. I am having a hard time with teh stress and the worrying. Any advice? Oh yeah, the only other thing I have on my record is an unpaid no insurance ticket. I hope this does not affect anything. (more...)
