Voting Question: Should I stay with Wal-Mart for work or look for something else?
I have not gone back to work since my chemo for my cancer ended a few weeks ago.I'd rather go back after I see my cancer doctor on September 9th and go though my MRI on September 3rd.My older brother in Washington State says that I should keep on working at Wal-Mart as they are already working with me on my "medical leave of absence" from work. I still have to contact my doctor's over this and have no idea on what to tell them to give Wal-Mart or should I go in and give to them myself!? I'm thinking of applying for jobs at our local hotels like Best Western or Marriot(my parent's know the owners there) ,Beals, Aaron's or maybe one of my town's dollars stores. Other places I'm questioning are Pizza Hut, a Mexican Food place and maybe a gas station(coffee shop or sub shop inside) . I also want the EDD's help with this problem as well if my family will help me with it of course. Much as I want to go back to work,I'm worried about job discrimination with my cancer recovery on going back to work or even looking and changing jobs for work. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? My state does not have state unemployment for people going though or recovering from cancer. Stupid leaders in Boise !! I know that California and other states have this , but not Idaho!! Thanks for the help everyone!! I've been employed by then since March of 2007. I work in overnight maintenance. If JetAway Aviation defaults on repaying its lender, the public trustee of Montrose County can be directed to sell the property ? meaning members of the Girdner family could be first in line for any of those benefits, a deed of trust filed Dec. 20 indicated. JetAway, a limited liability company, along with another LLC, One Creative Place, executed a deed of trust that identified its lenders as Paul and Michael Girdner of Boise, Idaho. Michael Girdner also signed as the borrower, on behalf of both LLCs, which is not unheard of, a local escrow agent told the Daily Press. The notarized document certifies that Girdner is a ?manager or managing member of JetAway Aviation, LLC,? and he would therefore have the power to act on behalf of the company. Advertisement JetAway CEO Stephen Stuhmer did respond to a request for comment. JetAway, located at 1 Creative Place adjacent to the Montrose Regional Airport, is locked in a heated and expensive legal battle over Montrose County?s decision to award a competitive bid for fixed-base operations at the airport to another company. Resolved Question: HELP! Landlord/roomie problems!?
Okay, so my fiance and I moved with with a woman named "sally" 3 months ago, as roomates. According to her, the owner of the house knew we were moving in, and everything would be fine. Nice lady, we trusted her. BTW we live in boise idaho. Anyways, she has all of a sudden decided she is giving up the lease, she told the owner, and she is saying we have until the 15th of january to move out. i think she is hiding something, she wont give me the landlords number, and i cant get it from the public property info. do we really have to be out? she moved to tacoma, wa after we moved in (her son still lives here) and she is coming down on the 15th of january to clean out the house. this is gonna get bad, real bad and i dunno what to do. oh and she sent us a notice on the 23rd of december stating that she was giving us 30 days to get out, but we didnt recieve it until after christmas, so we only had 20 days. is this legal? the real owner has no idea what is going on, or that we are even here, and i cant get his number. she wont give it to me, and public records cant provide it either. she is afraid she will get in trouble for having us here, and is hiding this from the real owner I dunno if this matters, but she left a dog here, it poops everywhere, her son steals our food, makes messes and we clean up after him, he is 19. we have caught her in multiple lies. Looking to find the conversion formula or "tool" to figure the difference between: 1st conversion request: $ 82 million in 1981 vs. 2006 Couple of factors: public bonds sold to finance project, rural mountains of Colorado, water works project - flood control & water storage, owner/operator - municipality, Army Corp of Engineers oversight. 2nd conversion request: $ 101 million in 1985 vs. 2006. Couple of other factors: public bonds sold to finance project; locale - Boise, ID; hydro-electric power plant(revenue generator); secondary function to water works project - flood control & water storage, owner/operator - municipality, Army Corp of Engineers oversight, etc. I'm currently working on $ 333M const. project; city of San Francisco is client/owner once complete.
