Resolved Question: How can I get/find members for my band?
I live in Kuna Idaho,(although i spend a lot of my time in Boise Idaho, there are both in the Treasure valley) and I really want to start a band. But, everyone at my highschool SUCKS. I mean, i dont care if your not that good but i mean, they REALLY SUCK. im not looking for niel peart of jimmy page but i mean, well, they suck super bad, and that is the few people that "play instruments" i struggle to find someone who plays and instrument, then it turns out they suck! so i say to myself, well i guess if they try they can get better, so i try to start something with them and they are all music nazi's!! they all have their one tiny genre of music (grunge, classic rock, emo) and they absolutely REFUSE to play or write anything else! also, im only 15, so i cant drive yet, but im taking drivers ed right now so i will be able to next Jan. and i suppose for a bonus question ive been trying to get my brother to practice his bass to be in the band but just doesnt practice enough! help!?!?
lol ok i know flyers could i perhaps get something a little more creative?

Resolved Question: Is this happening anywhere else in this crazy world?????
Thieves stealing license plates, then gas
Thieves are employing a new way of beating the rising cost of gas in the Treasure Valley ? a practice that may begin spreading to other regions of the state. And, without your knowledge, it could implicate innocent drivers and their vehicles in the process, explains Bryan Smith, ITD?s Emergency Program Manager.
He passed along a story that first appeared on a Boise television station that explains how thieves steal license plates to accomplish their crime:
?Police are investigating some cases where they say suspects stole license plates, drove to local gas stations, filled up their tanks ? then drove off without paying. ?Several cases right now? are pretty significant,? ? explains Boise Police Crime Prevention Unit officer Curt Crum.
Crum says gas theft and ?drive-offs? have always been an issue. But with increasing gas prices, more people are stealing license plates before stealing gas. ?It?s not like we have seen a huge spike, but we have a number of cases we are working that do involve stolen license plates,? he said.
Boise officers have seen enough of a spike that they are taking an active step by alerting the public and asking motorists to be specially vigilant. Check your vehicle every time you get in to drive it to make sure both front and back plates are properly displayed.
?How often do people go out and check to see if their license plate is there or check to see that the right plates are on there?? Crum asks. ?We have had incidents where they (thieves) put other plates on a vehicle, so the driver may not know.?
Motorists are encouraged to call 911 only if they observe someone in the act of removing their license plates, Smith said. If you notice they have been removed but did not actually witness the theft in progress, report it to your law enforcement agency using its regular business telephone number.

Resolved Question: sublime song; april 29th 1992--what's it mean by "And screamin 187 on a mother fuckin cop."?
I dont know if you can,
But can you get an owner for ons,
Thats o-n-s,junior market,
The address is 1934 east aneheim,
All the windows are busted out,
And its like a free-for-all in here
And uh the owner shouldat least come
Down here and see if he can secure his business,
If he wants to...
April 26th, 1992,
There was a riot on the streets,
Tell me where were you?
You were sittin home watchin your tv,
While I was paticipatin in some anarchy.
First spot we hit it was my liqour store.
I finally got all that alcohol I cant afford.
With red lights flashin time to retire,
And then we turned that liquor store into a structure fire.
Next stop we hit it was the music shop,
It only took one brick to make that window drop.
Finally we got our own p.a.
Where do you think I got this guitar that youre hearing today?
Hey!
(call fire, respond mobil station.
Alamidos in anahiem,
Its uhh flamin up good.
10-4 alamidos in anaheim)
Never doin no time
When we returned to the pad to unload everything,
It dawned on me that I need new home furnishings.
So once again we filled the van until it was full,
Since that day my livin rooms been more comfortable.
Cause everybody in the hood has had it up to here,
Its getting harder and harder and harder each and every year.
Some kids went in a store with thier mother,
I saw her when she came out she was gettin some pampers.
They said it was for the black man,
They said it was for the mexican,
And not for the white man.
But if you look at the streets it wasnt about rodney king,
Its bout this fucked up situation and these fucked up police.
Its about coming up and staying on top
And screamin 187 on a mother fuckin cop.
Its not written on the paper its on the wall.
National guard? ? !
Smoke from all around,
Bo! bo! bo!

Resolved Question: Which stadiums/venues are the most intimidating for visiting opponents in NCAA football?
I've heard that "The Swamp" (Florida) is a very difficult place to play, "The Big House" (Michigan), "Death Valley" (LSU), "The Coliseum" (USC), and "The Rose Bowl" (UCLA) are also supposed to be tough venues. Along with these places, I think that Boise St.'s blue field is one of the most difficult places to play because... well look at Boise St.'s record at home within the past few years - opponents have had VERY bad luck there (I don't believe Hawaii has EVER won there much less any other current WAC team - though I could be wrong).

Towns where Alleged Jehovah's Witness Child molesters have been reported to silentlambs
Home
Listed by each state
If you would to add a new listing contact silentlambs at info@silentlambs.org
The list below is designed to alert you to a possible danger in your community. Over the course of the last four years silentlambs has been a repository of reports on alleged Jehovah's Witness child molesters. Victims have reported extensively on times, dates and places abuse occurred. We have wrestled with how to alert the public as well as members that may be in congregations where abusers have been reported.
We offer the following suggestions if you as a Jehovah's Witness are in a town/congregation where a report has been made.
Do not allow your children to be alone with anyone in the congregation.
Escort your children to the bathroom during meetings and make sure no else is with them when using facilities.
Never allow your children to be alone in the car with anyone while in field service.
Do not allow any member to study with your child alone.
Avoid camping trips in which children go as a group with one or two adults.
Avoid baby sitters that are adult males.
At a get together watch your children and keep them in sight at all times.
Ask elders directly if they know of any abusers in your congregation, use specific names and note their reaction. They will not tell you directly but indirectly you can often figure out who it is. If one elder is less cooperative talk to another till you find out enough information to know the facts.
Check the local sex offender list in your area, type in the name of every person in your congregation to see if any are listed.
Notice any male member of the congregation that does not have privileges such as microphone or other duties around the congregation, especially if for a long period of time. They can offer talks on the TMS or sermons Service Meeting but are not allowed to conduct meetings. (This is only in case of a confessed child molester)
Note any member of the congregation that has children with sever rebellion or emotional problems.
Do not allow your children to have sleepovers with anyone.
Note members that the elders avoid having around their children.
If you are a member of the public and your community is on the list take the following steps to protect your family.
If Jehovah's Witnesses call at your home never allow them in your home
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call at your home purchase a no trespassing sign and place it near your door. JW's are instructing to only respect "no trespassing" signs any other variation will be ignored.
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call you can also call the local number and ask to be placed on the "do not call" list. They will note your home and check about once a year to make sure you wish to remain on the list.
If you choose to study with Jehovah's Witnesses do so at a neutral location such as the local Kingdom Hall or in a public place.
Never allow your child to be alone with members or their children.
If you choose to attend meetings with Jehovah's Witnesses then we suggest you follow the guidelines above for members.
Remember that most members are not aware of who the molesters are in their congregation according to church policy. They do not know.
If two Jehovah's Witnesses call at your door one could be a child molester. According to church guidelines all confessed child molesters are required to have a partner when going door to door. If two Jehovah's Witnesses appear at your door you might wish to ask if one or both are child molesters for peace of mind. Of course keep in mind if the person is an accused child molester they are allowed to work alone in the door to door work.
We hope this information is helpful and assists with the ultimate goal of silentlambs, protecting children. Check back as the list is updated on a regular basis.

I am not trying to spam people these are the same people in our club everytime. I need to find out what to do so I can send all of the club events to all of the members at one time.

Resolved Question: In Greenleaf, Idaho, the City Council is urging people to carry arms...Is this a good idea?
GREENLEAF, Idaho (Oct. 12) - Say an earthquake snaps a dam and the full force of the Boise River floods the Treasure Valley, driving untold thousands toward high ground.
Or maybe the subdivisions spreading west from Boise finally push big-box, subwoofer, exit-ramp America right up to this plateau of mint and alfalfa fields, where rural lives have passed in peace since Quakers settled a century ago.
However humanity?s rush may arrive, a town must prepare. Greenleaf, population 862, is not taking the task lightly. Thus the proposed language for Section 2, Chapter 6, Subsection 2 of the Greenleaf City Code.
?Heads of households to maintain firearms,? the heading announces.
?In order to provide for the emergency management of the city, and further in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants,? the proposal says, ?it is recommended that every head of household residing in the city limits maintain a firearm, together with ammunition therefore, and obtain appropriate training relating to proper, safe and lawful handling of firearms.?
