I downloaded some pictures online through google and I'd like to know the dpi(dot per inch) of the pictures. I don't have Adobe on my computer. The computer I'm using is windows XP but there doesn't seem to be much software on it(the computer isn't mine, it is a shared one). Can you find out the dpi without the Adobe system on the computer? Can you just right clock on the picture and find out? to yay boxes; thanks for the advice;Check out Photoline32 or The Gimp for software which supports DPI however, the computer doesn't have Photoline32 and Gimp and I can't download it; I'm just a user and users can't download anything. Only the system administrator can and the system administrator won't allow any downloads of software. Can you still find out the dpi? I was thinking about printing the picture on a T-shirt and the image has to be at least 120 dpi. (more...)

The world as we know it is pointless as our very state of being in this universe is pointless as well. What is reality and is that pointless as well? I mean it does not matter in the great scope of things what we in reality consider important,like receiving an education, getting a good job, marriage, and even procriation to an extent for that matter. Why pursue all these things in life if they are all useless why get a good education and a good job if we are all going to die. Why procriate to preserve the species if we are going to die, they are going to die, their childrenare going to die, their children's children will die and so goes this cycle we call life. Death is the only subject worth our constantpondering not howmany degrees one can obtain and to find happiness in this reality cause again what is reality it is all artificial that'swhat it is again we will all die it's the only certainty in lifeeven though the process of death in one'slife is unknown. The concept of reality and all that is it it is all an illusion created by us HUMANS. What are humans for that matter and why are we classifiedas HUMANS. I have thought about this and have cometo the conclusion we Humans categorize everything that is our universe to give us a sense of self-empowerment and control ver our lives and what surrounds it. This is seen through the very word HUMANS we call ourselves that to give us a name to make senseof our existance. Then we create deities that are responsible for said existance even though we are not sure of a supreme deities presence. I personally do not believe in Gods and I believe that the whole worshipping of God is because people or Humans as we call ourselvesfeed into whatever is thrown at them. The existanceof God has been passed on orally for centuries now and we have welcomed it as a norm in our reality because,like death and other mysteries surrounded reality the thought of us controlling our reality gives us a sense ofunderstanding in our mindeven if we dont know shit. Take clocks and years for that matter what are these concepts of time?They are man made.In retrospect there is no time and are we really in the year 2009. I doubt it, but once more it gives we HUMANS a sense of control in a reality we have no idea about. What about the planets they also fit into this. When early astronomers discovered we are just a speakin a greater spectrum of things we felt belittled as a race and what did we do about it. We named the planets as we named ourselves humans and clocks,clocks. Then throughout the centuries weplaced the planets in our reality or say oursolar system and taught it to our children throughout the generationsin order not to feel a senseof wonderment and makepretend all is right with the world. Take periods of history as another example we in the present tend to group and categorize the past because we were not there to live i, so it gives us once more a sense of being. For instance take the Renaissance Age peopleliving in that era did not call it the Renaissance Age they just lived their daily lives as we do now. But, because that was such an instrumental era in our existance we have to empower ourselves and give it a name. They in the Renaissance Age did the same to the people in the Medeval era as they did to the era that preceeded them. Same would happen with us and the era that follows us. All this ties in to the bigger picture of death we as a species take in a lot in our lives to cloud the belief of death deep within our sub-conscious. Our jobs, our familes, television,thinking about the universe as I am doing right now, etc are just temporary escapes one takes not to question the world'suncertainties.But, this would catch up with you think of the world as a long line that seems will never end. You are stuck in the end, but while you are thinkingit will never end you began to see the line is moving and you will eventually get to the front. By the time you get to the front you look back onyour journey and what you thought was endless was really not that long. That is death in a nutshell just one long line that may not be so long it can last 10 minutes or 70 years for that matter, but it will end and all the stuff you did in life seems meaningless because they were temporary escapesand know in death you face the unknown. That'swhy people like myselfand I bet 100% of the HUMAN race whether they admit it or not fear death. They may say that God would take hem in but that just proves the very senseof self-empowerment believing what they wish awaits them. Even though reality is full of hardships that could be done away with by death people wouldrather live through the hardships because they think they know what they can expect with life asopposed to death. I admit I am scaredof death thats why I think about it morethan the average person and try to analyze it and apply it to the earth.But, what if the earth is like death in that it is unknown and peopletakein t Also what if our reality is intertwined with the reality of our past history. I am surepeople in George Washington's time spoke about the mysteries of life. But, what if they still are as we arewhat if two alternate universes exist simultaneously together without one of them knowing and that is the past andpresent.What if George Washington isalive and well and being sworn in as President as I write thisin another plane ofexistance as is Barack Obama and his inaugaration in this plane of existance. Simultaneously living amongsteach other awaiting the big question mark death and the purpose of life. But why makethe best ofit ifit does not matter what if happiness itself is an escape from the greater purpose. (more...)

OK last night i had a scary dream ( it may not seem scary as i tell it, but if you had it you would know... it seems cheesy telling it) I had a dream that i was with my best friend Jolee and my mom (anya higley). We were at an amusement park called Lagoon (it is a real park in Utah) but it didnt look anything like the real thing, it was completely different. When you cam through the entrance there was a ride that looked like the cliff hanger (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h... But it was black and over top of the water and you had a glass bubble around you because it went under water. I had always been afraid to go on this in my dream, but i did go on it with Jolee.I had fun and went on it again. But the second time i fell through the glass i guess you could say and fell in the water. I swam to a little bank with mud and gross things like that . I saw a little tiny white flag ( one like they put in the grass as markings) in the water and it had a picture of my mom and it said " Here lies anya higley" and then my mom in ghost figure popped out of the water and was pulling me down. When she stopped pulling me we were in this little town, it was a little town that was like (ugh dont make fun of me, this dream is very hard to explain.) the other half of people, like if they arent doing what they are supposed to do the other half of them goes to that town. Everyone in that town looked ghostlike and creepy. After that i just appeared at the exit of the ride i was on and Jolee acted like nothing had happened. I was freaking out and telling them about it but they didnt beleive me and i got very frustrated. Then we were going to go on the skyride ( a ride that takes you from one side of the park to the other) but it was closed. Then my stepdad appeared out of nowhere and him and my mom started making out, not really making out but like licking and biting each others tongues ( weird, i know). Then my friends little brother appeared and was supposedly my little brother. Me and Jolee took him on a waterslide that my uncle worked at. ( the ride took a picture as you were going down like they do on roller coasters.) I went down, then Jolee went down and we told my little brother that we will be at the bottom waiting for him. When he got down he showed us (and my mom) his picture it was him in that little town from before. He was very scared and no one believed him except me. Then this other woman appeared and she was very close to me , like a second mother, she looked like nicole kidman but her name in my dream was Nana, She was very pale almost black and white with no color but not quite black and white just very dull.. Jolee wanted me to go on that ride from before again but i wouldnt but she forced me. I went down to the little town on purpose this time and there was a dog. The dog was real and not ghostlike as the other people were. I loved it and was taking care of it. Then i saw Nana's "ghostlike other half" and she was talking to me and said she was so excited to see me. She didnt like it in that little town and wanted to leave. All the other people never wanted to leave. I told her i would take her to her body , but i didnt know how to leave she then took me by the had and jumped and we were then in the real life. She went to her body and suddenly Nana was very bright colored and normal and happier than ever. Then i woke up.... I really wished my alarm clock hadent gone off so i could have continued that dream.I was very afraid that morning. ( dont give me crap on the answers about it not seeming scary because i even think it sounds cheesy telling it but if you had that dream you would know, it was so afraid.) PLease answer and tell me what my dream means i really need to know. I dont want anything bad happening to anyone. (more...)

Ok, this is for the people who really know what they are doing on the computer and about registry's on a computer. I went on this site that offers different things about he computer and how to fix them. My problem is that my desktop picture went away. I am not able to change my desktop background. Do you know how you usually right click, them properties, then the desktop tab, then you choose your background? Well I cant do that. The site tells me to do the following: Click Start Click Run Type: regedit Navigate to the following registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System "Wallpaper"=SZ:C:\WINDOWS\desktop.html (yours might be slightly different) Click one time on the entry Push Delete on the keyboard Click Yes Close the Registry editor I did all that, but I am still stuck and my problem is still not fixed. I deleted the two things in my registry under the SYSTEM tab that said "NoDispBackgroundPage" and "NoDispScrSavPage." That did not fix my problem. When I right click on my desktop and click properties then the desktop tab, the part that lets you choose the pictures for your background is still gray and un-clickable. I am not even able to browse for a picture to use as the background. I scanned my computer with SpyBot - S/D, and Malwarebytes' Antimalware and deleted all the infected material. And I should state that in my list of backgrounds there are a couple of webpages and I don't understand what that is. Is there any way that I can get my desktop choices back? The only thing that I have left in the SYSTEM registry is a thing that says "Default" and the type is "REG_SZ", which I do not understand what that means. Am I supposed to delete that also or just leave it? And since I deleted the parts that say "NoDispBackgroundPage" and "NoDispScrSavPage", will that mess up my computer? There is one more problem that I have. Do you know how on the taskbar there is the clock in the lower right hand corner and you have those little "quick icons" as I call them? I do not know their full terminology, they maybe notifications. But anyway, there is an icon there that is red and has a white "X" on it. Now when I click on the "X" (right click that is) to try and close it out, it takes me to a website called Real Antivirus and it says to download a free try to clean your computer of viruses, but I have Norton and a couple of other virus protections, so I did not download that. But how do I get rid of that? Can somebody please help? I would appreciate it very much. I know that this is a lot, and I will award the highest points that I am allowed to give for answering this question for me. Again, I would like someone who knows their computers and computer registry's to answer this question as to not mess up my computer because it cost me a lot of money and I cant afford for it to be messed up and have to get a new one. So I have a friend and I did not realize that she had a huge crush on me. I had not dated for about a year and one of my other friends told me what the girl who has a crush on me said. well the girl asked me out and told me to give her an answer by the next day. well i thought about it and about dating and how I should probably take a risk and I didn't really like the girl that much. Well I got tired of being pushed and rushed that I just said yes to the girl and it made her really happy. well i am going to sound like a total jerk, but I assure you that I am not. I just didn't know what I wanted at the time. Well a day later, i am thinking about what I have done. I pretty much told her yes, and went to sleep about an hour later. I woke up with a nauseated feeling because I realized what I had done to myself. I kept thinking all day on how much i really did not want to date and how I shouldn't have told the girl yes and how I am going to have to end it, because it absolutely isn't what I want. Well at about 10 o clock p.m., i told her that I didn't want to date right now and that I wanted to be single. I said some more things, but I did this via yahoo messenger and i can't remember every detail. So as soon as i send the message, i logged out, because I cannot stand to hurt girl's feelings and make them cry, and I feel horrible for doing it, but i had to do it. Well i am a junior in high school, so I went to school as normal, fresh off winter break, and the girl is standing at the door. she follows me around and walks with me and I am wondering what is up. Well i go to change my schedule in guidance, and she finally leaves. well my younger brother and her have a class together. she tells him to tell me that she will wait for me and when I am ready to date, she will be there to date me and that really sucks for me, because I absolutely do not want to date this girl again. I do not judge people by looks, but I judge by personality and attitude. This girl is not the girl that I picture myself being with and I don't know what to do. I don't know if avoiding contact is best or sneaking into school into the morning. I don't want to hurt her, because she is an awesome friends, but not someone that I want to be with or date anytime in my life. I really don't want to make her cry. What should I do? I have lost freeview reception all of a sudden (picture's gone unwatchable and blocky and has no sound) in my room and no matter what I try I can't improve the signal so far i've tried A. taking the Freeview box out and trying it in another room, it worked fine. B. replacing the scart lead. C. trying the TV in another room with the freeview box it worked fine Boosting the signal by means of a booster box and a Ariel booster no improvement E. Changing all the coaxial cables, no improvement. F. trying an Internal aerial, no improvement G. Trying a different freeview box, still no improvement I can get freeview signal in all the other rooms in the house with perfect signal, it just suddenly stopped getting signal in my bedroom. I've tried using the different ariel (we have 2 on our roof) which works in one room but it still doesn't work in mine, so I know its not the ariel. I've come to the conclusion it's got to be something in my room causing the problem. the only things that are operating in my room are : digital alarm clock, (was there when the freeview worked fine) stereo (was there when freeview worked fine) I have tried unplugging the stereo and everything except the TV and it still doesn't work. I have no idea what could be causing the problem, i've tried everything! BTW.. i can get analogue signal fine in my room channel 1,2,3,4,5 perfectly but can't get digital signal. Digital switchover is coming soon and i'm going to be left with no tv in my room! I have tried different freeview boxes that i know work in other rooms and it still doesn't work.. (more...)
