Open Question: can you help me? i'm italian and i need somebody who correct this text..thanks a lot!?
help me please. i'm italian and i have only 14 years old. so, can you correct this text please? tomorrow i must give this text to my teacher, and i know there are lot of mistakes.. thankssssssss
i love travelling, in fact in my life I saw a lot of interesting places such as Kenya, Honk Hong, Maldive, Germany, Iceland.
Last summer I went on holiday in England. I went there whit two friends: Sonia and Paola.
We staued there for 2 week, we took a flight from bari to London. Exactly we stayed in a college in Richmond.
Richmond is a district of London. The college was called Digby Stuart and it is 20 minutes from the center of London.
In London I saw a lot of famous places like Trafalgar Square, British Museum, Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben. Than I saw Piccadilly Circus one of the most important square inn London, I remember when I go to a bar and I bought a bottle of mineral water and I spend 15 euros, so the prices are very high...
Then I saw Madame Toussaud, it was really nice because I saw a lot of famous people like actor actress, sportman.. I saw Jonny Depp, Beckam, Bread Pitt! I like him a lot, in my opinion he?s wonderful, and he?s a fantastic actor..
I have seen Mourighno. I hate him. He?s a football coach and he work with inter, an Italian club..
I don?t like inter, because I am a supporter of Juventus. I don?t like him because he?s serius and disagreeable.
The places I liked most were Brighton Oxford London eye..
Brighton is a city near London, full of shops, and it is famous because there are beautiful sandy beaches., I also had a bath there.. it was great, instead London eye is fabulous, and there was a breathtaking overview.
Oxford is famous fot its college. In fact there are a lot of them.
One of the most populare is Harry Potter?s college. It is beautiful. I look it very old. Oxford is full of souvenirs shops in fact I bought a lot of them for all my friends.
English food is terrible, in my college the meal was horrible. I always eat chips, bread and butter, I also eat a lot of chocolate and sweeties
One of the best meal that I tried was fish and chips, a very traditional taka away.
I often went to McDonald. I love it! I know is very unhealthy but it is too tasty!
Shopping in London in fantastic.
I visited all the famous street like regent?s street, oxford st?.. and there are s lot of shops, most of them are famous brands.
But the best department store in the world is Harrods!
It is indescribable. There are hundred and hundred brands.
There are 5 floors and it is very wide.
In fact when I went there with some friends we get lost!
So, I love London because is a lovely city, it is interesting so, I would like to come back there.

Open Question: What should I do with my hair?
I play basketball and I run cross country and track. My hair is very very thin, and always falls out no matter what I do with it. I have tried braids, buns, everything. I want to do something with my hair so that it will stay for a while (the whole game/race) and so that I don't have to keep fixing it (which is my coaches pet peeve). I would also like it to look nice. Please help me!
I forgot to mention..
I have side bangs which I perfer to not be in my face.. The headbands normally slip out, but prewrap seems to work if I tie it tight enough. But that doesn't keep my hair from falling out of the pony tail. Also, as Bella said, metal clips aren't allowed on the court. =/

Open Question: Why are children these days so ungrateful?
(I tried to post the question with the link byt YA wouldn't let me so I had to post the content here.)
PARENTS planning day trips during the summer holidays have been sent a message from the kids. Don?t bother.
Almost 70 per cent of students say they hated family days out as youngsters and wished their parents had left them to amuse themselves.
Top of the hate list were visits to the Natural History Museum (or any museum) closely followed by days out in Blackpool or Bognor Regis and, almost as bad, trips to see distant relatives.
Only a quarter of 1,200 students polled in a survey claimed to enjoy family days out.
For 42 per cent the journey was the worst part of the trip, but 18 per cent blamed lack of ?fun things to do? at their destination. And 12 per cent said they would prefer to be surfing the internet. Many students claimed that boredom had been to blame for any childhood sulkiness.
Nigel Whiteoak, manager of online auction site TeleBid.com, which undertook the research, said yesterday: ?It quickly became evident that more would prefer to stay at home and do their own thing than enjoy a day out with the family.?
He added: ?I have to confess I am one of the few who used to enjoy day trips to Blackpool with my family in the summer.??
Life coach and youth worker Joseph Clough said: ?This research shows that, despite attempts to ensure quality time spent with their children, parents are falling short and weakening their bond with them by enforcing time together.?
Ten most hated day trips
1 Natural History Museum
2 Blackpool
3 Bognor Regis
4 Visiting relatives
5 Weston-Super-Mare
6 Stonehenge
7 Warwick Castle
8 Model villages
9 Nature parks
10 Garden Centres

Open Question: Is the LZR Jammer really THAT great compared to the FS Pro Jammer?
So i have a big meet coming up in about two months and my coach wants to know now what suit i am going to want to wear. My main events are 200 IM and 200 Breast, so I am leaning away from the leg skins because i heard that they limit your breast stroke kick and i have never worn one during a breast/IM race. I'm not sure if it is even worth getting the LZR jammer because i hear the whole point of the LZR is to help you core stay in the right position, and the jammer obviously could not do that. I am tight on money, but I would be willing to spend it if the LZR jammer really is that much better than the Pro jammer.

Open Question: Please help me, the guys on the B-Ball team are being jerks towards me?
Ok, well I am a freshman and I made the B-ball team at my school. Well, the one kid doesn't like me a lot because I told the coach that he didn't run suicide, but waited in the bathroom till It was over. So the coach made him do 10 suicides on a normal b-ball court, while we all were just playing 2 on 2. He was sweating to death when we all were in the lockers, and I was going out so I decided to take a shower at the gym. I put my clothes in my locker, and I put the towel on the shower hanger. While I was taking my shower, they stole my towel and clothes from my locker. I had to go back to the courts naked, where everyone was staring at me. Coach made me stay after gym and run 1 60s. (I had to do 2 suicides in 1 minute.) except, he left me there, and I never got my clothes back. What should I do, quiting will only make them happy.

Open Question: Help Please!!!! My son's father strikes again.?
My eleven year old son went on a court ordered christmas vacation with his father into another state. (La) His father not for the first time has called Social Services claiming that I abuse our child and is now refuseing to return our son. This isn't the first time he has done this but the kids and I just moved to another county and this county isn't used to the father's repeated false claims and is allowing the father to keep the child in another state where our son is not in school (can't be put in due to his living here) is not being givin his asthma inhalers (his father don't believe that he is asthmatic, our son also has a slight curve in his spine that when in a growth srurt can worsen and we are supposed to get him to Dr. if anything looks or sounds wrong and my son is saying that it feels like a pinched nerve in his back (again father believes nothing wrong) and won't get it checked out. I have tried to talk to the social worker assigned to the case and to me it seems like he's on a power trip and won't even take my calls or call me back. I finally called his supervisor and so he was made to call me back and all he would say was that just because the father told me he wasn't going to take him to the Dr. that didn't mean it was true and I needed to stay out of it. I may not be a perfect mother but I DON'T abuse my children!!!! I have been a Girl Scout leader, a Boy Scout leader, a soccer coach, a flag football assistance coach, the community vice president for the Marshfield JayCees, I volunteer at my childrens schools, I am the only one to ever go to any of my son's parent teacher confrences, my eleven year old is my youngest child, I also have an 16 yr. old and a 21 yr. old. Even my daughter and other son have said that none of it's true, but with this social worker I feel like no matter what I do or say or have done in the past for all my kids it will never be good enough. Any helpful non smart alec answers would be gratefully appreciated. My children are my life. And the father does this type of thing when he is told no by me , this time it's because I won't let him claim our son every year on taxes and I won't let him have our son every x-mas instead of every other year as was ordered.
Our son is very broken up about this whole thing, our son and I are very close and he wants to come home, his father tells him bad things about me and it hurts him to no end. Our son loves his father very much and I do encourage the relationship with his father, but it's getting harder to do that and this time he even convinced our son to lie to authorities in his quest to keep him and our son now feels even more horrible knowing that he did it and no one will listen to him tell the truth. Not to mention the father has only allowed our child and I to talk only twice since this all started and my son and I talk every day when he is gone. This is doing major damage to all of us, but especially our son. I have tried talking to the father but he won't give.

Open Question: i had a really bad day today.?
school was okay, not amazing.
i went to dance practice and we are learning a new routine and my coach was screaming at me (everyone hates her.) but today she expected us to pick up the first quarter of the routine in 5 minutes! EVERYONE was screwing up, but she was screaming at me. and when she screams, she cusses and is really fricken loud.
so then i told my sister (she is also on dance team) that our coach screaming isn't going to help anything, and then she started talking about how i need to get it. I WATCHED HER AND SHE SUCKED TODAY AT THE ROUTINE. and i was like "no one can get it perfect in 5 minutes! did you even look at anyone else?" and then she called me a bitch and said she hated me.
then when i got home, my dad was like "you know that money i owe you? i'm giving it to aaron." he is my sisters boyfriend. he came to pick me up from a restaurant yesterday, so my dad gave him MY money for gas, even though the restaurant is literally 3 minutes away. then he started going off about how i need to be smarter and crap.
so basically, i am pissed off. everyone and everything is annoying me right now. everyone is like, sara, come here, what are you doing? sara, go clean your room, sara stay downstairs.
today is pissing me off so muchhhh. can you please cheer me up?

Open Question: What Would the Knicks Record Be in the 2010-2011 Season?
It seems this season the Knicks are much improved and this season would be the season of the most roster moves to position ourselves for 2010 free agency. Knicks have already done 2 trades thus far and 2 more are in discussion. Hopefully, Knicks can trade Curry this year too.
All of the Knicks except Jeffries have guaranteed contracts up to less than 3 years. Jeffries has 3 years remaining. Anyways, the reported trades are a 3way deal between Knicks, Blazers, and Clippers in that Marcus Camby and Channing Frye would return to the Knicks shipping Lee out to Portland cause they are interested in him. Who wouldn't be Lee is a stud, which is why I am uneasy in trading him.
But, there is another rumor that instead of Lee being that Nate makes almost as much as Lee and both of their contracts expire after this year. As, well as Nate being good friends and former teammates of B. Roy that he would take Lee's place. Because, its one or the other and Lee is the better player and should be given the extension not Nate who makes boneheaded plays time in and out he forces the action. Camby is a beast and the most complete center in the NBA , 3rd best overall.
The other trade proposal is expiring contract swaps of Malik Rose and Jerry Stackhouse. Who wants out of Dallas. Stack and Frye could help for the time being, as they are good shooters off the bench. But, they are expiring contracts and after this year we release them along w/ this years expiring contracts of Starbury (the chump),Jerome James (the lurch), and Anthony Roberson (the shooting fraud).
As, for the trade I would like done this year is Curry being traded to Indy for Marquis Daniels and Travis Diener. Daniels is better than Nate and after Nate leaves we need a SG and we always needed a backup PG and Diener can shoot. Bird has expressed interest in Curry before and his contract ends in 2 years, so Indy can buy him out and splurge the 2010 market to give Danny Granger a stud, like Caron Butler maybe.
All this would set us up for this off season where both Nash because of a contract option can opt out and sign with whom he wants. Where better to end your career than your off season home NYC playing for the coach w/ a system that made you the player that you are. Barbosa is a unrestricted FA and same applies to him. Tim Thomas would be bought out.
After, the 2009-2010 season the off season of big name free agent splurging begins. I do not think LeBron or Wade will leave, but CB4 and Amare are possibilities and I think we will make a run @ Michael Redd. If Nash stays he will come off the bench. Harrington and Camby can sign on for veteran minimums and Duhon can be resigned as well as will Chandler and the rest of the cast being that they do not make a large salary and are complimentary players.
This could very well be the 2010-2011 Knicks.
