The Midlife Miracle Diet: When Your Diet Doesn't Work Anymore . . .
Have your diets stopped working for you? Do you have a chronic lack of energy? High blood pressure or cholesterol? Excess weight that won't budge? Does type 2 diabetes run in your family? Do you feel older than your age? After listening to client after client answer yes to these questions, Adele Puhn began to see that many were suffering from insulin resistance-a Metabolic Mix-Up so life affecting that it literally controls our body chemistry, fueling our cravings and starving our cells of needed nutrients. Insulin resistance not only prevents us from losing weight, but can also put us at a risk for developing life-threatening illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes as we age.
The Midlife Miracle Diet is your road map to a healthier, more vibrant, and more fulfilling way of life. The secret to the diet is an eating plan that controls blood sugar and limits carbohydrates-without deprivation and unrealistic restrictions. Carbs, fats, sugars, and proteins are all included in moderation, but carefully timed and paired to maintain stable blood sugar throughout the day. Insulin function is further enhanced with targeted supplements and exercise. Following this program, you will lose weight, lower your risks, and boost your energy by controlling the chemistry that has been controlling you.

Resolved Question: Who Thinks Peyton Being Named MVP Is Horsecrap?
Peyton's a great QB, but here's my problem...
In general, I think MVP's go to quarterbacks too often. People OVERSTATE the importance of a quarterback. If quarterbacks were so critical in football, we wouldn't live in a world where Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson have superbowl rings, and a guy like Dan Marino doesn't.
And sure, you can all THINK that if Peyton went down, Indy would be nothing and Jim Sorgi would steer them into a ditch...but most of you would have said the same thing this time last year if I asked what would happen if Tom Brady went down and Matt Cassel was the QB? The correct answer was 11-5.
So how about guys this year that REALLY formed the identity of their teams...for example...
1.- What would the Vikings record be without Adrian Peterson?
2.- How many games did Pittsburgh's James Harrison singlehandedly
save their anemic offense?
3.- Would Houston have even won 3 GAMES this year without Andre
Johnson?
I think Peyton is to MVP 08 what Bret Farve is to "Pro Bowler" in 08: a guy who got it not because it was deserved but because of being inthe hunt and having the biggest fanclub.

Voting Question: Who should be 2009 NFL MVP?
I believe it should be Adrian Peterson he led the Vikings to their first Division title since 2000 and led the league in rushing all while going up against 8 and 9 man boxes, teams try to shut him down but it doesn't happen. sure he fumbles but he has everyone on the field gunning for him considering doesn't have a quarterback that's even worth paying attention to.

Resolved Question: why do most stories out of the bible resemble so many celtic and norse myths?
I've noticed that a lot of stories from the bible seem very similar to celtic, norse, and many other "pagan" lore. like the story of Balder norse god of light and judgment. who died and is supposed to come back from the dead after Ragnarok. I've asked this question before though not on here and a christan man said that the vikings had foresaw the coming of christ. for some reason that just doesn't seem right. heck even they way most peopleVieww him is like the vikings viewed balder. but if you do a little thinking jesus would look like a cross between saddam ho san and gondi. and if you know enough about history you learn the romans crucified people on staght up and down pole and that the cross was a druidic Symbol. is this just a really big coincidence? or did Christan's steal most of their stories from celtic and norse myth and lore?

Resolved Question: Why is it every year in the NFL there has to be one group of fans that are especially disrespectful & cocky?
Before I get the "hate you" comments back I am not talking about every fan of the teams below - you all know what side of the fence you fall on. If you are not disrespectful or cocky then I am not talking about you - OK?
Two years ago it was a majority of Bears fans who guaranteed a win over the Colts.
Last year a majority of Patriot fans just could not fathom them losing to anyone including the Giants and whined that they didn't deserve to win.
This year alot of Eagles fans are getting really cocky about the fact that they think they are Super Bowl bound.
I don't understand the Eagles fans this year. The Dallas game was a thrashing but Dallas is not that good. If they crushed New York or the Panthers then I would take notice. Dallas was a mess and the Lions maybe could have beat them Sunday. They are guaranteeing a win over Minnesota this coming Sunday. Huh? Yes they may win but guarantee a win or predict a blowout? On what grounds? Because they blew out Dallas? That doesn't have any bearing on the Vikings game at all. All I have to say is look how it turned out for the two teams above (NE and Chi). Not too good.
KKM - No I am most certainly not a Detroit Lions fan! Maybe there is no dominant teams in the playoffs (I disagree but whatever) but there are no doubt teams in the playoffs who are a level below others and Philly falls in that category. Crowing over beating Dallas? I don't think it is that much of an accomplishment - sorry if I team "self proclaims" themselves anything that means nothing. I can self proclaim myself a better quarterback than Tom Brady - it doesn't make it any more of an accomplishment when he shows me up. The Dallas game means they ran up the score on a team that didn't come to play - ooh big deal.

Resolved Question: Why is L.J. Smith the starting TE for the Eagles?
Brent Celek is smarter and stronger than L.J. Brent could be a great weapon in our passing game. L.J. is always a risk for a fumble. Brent should be the starter hands down. If Reid doesn't start him in the playoffs I wll go insane. Am I the only one who thinks Celek should start against the Vikings?

Resolved Question: Hi! i have a few Questions about the NFL . . . . . . . .?
1. How come the Pats didn't make the playoffs?
2. IF the Vikings had lost to the Giants, who would win the division, Vikes or Bears? ( they would both have the same record.)
3. I can tell the current playoff system doesn't work, since the pats didn't make it. So how shpuld a new system be made? i'm just asking your opinion.
Thanks in advance!!!!

Resolved Question: Greatest Rivalry of the Decade?
So this decade only has like a year left.. Which NFL rivalry is the best? Just because one is a historic rivalry doesn't mean it's the best of this decade. Like the Skins and the Cowboys kinda died down a bit lately.
just a few ideas...
-Colts vs Pats
-Chargers vs Broncos
-Vikings vs Packers
-Giants vs Cowboys
-Chargers vs Colts
-Titans vs Steelers (mostly because of the recent game)
Personally I think I would have to say the Colts and Pats, they have played each other every year and each year there is even more hate between these two teams and their fans.

Resolved Question: Why do NFL "experts" love the Packers so much?
The Bears and Vikings had better records when they played the Packers, yet most of the "experts" picked Green Bay to win all four games. This doesn't only apply to division games only, this happens with virtually every game Green Bay plays. They are the only team I know that can have a 5-10 record and still be spoken of like they are a contender. I think the commentators and "experts" must still be feeding off of last year's success, but it's making me mad.

Resolved Question: Matt Cassell in a Jets uniform next year?
The Jets officially choked this year, I'm pissed, but thats beside the point. Matt Cassell is an unrestricted Free Agent at the end of this season. With Tom Brady coming back, Cassell doesn't want to resign to be a backup so the smart move is to go to another team.
There are many suitors out there like the Vikings, Bears, Bucs, etc. But I think the Jets have the best shot at Copping him, we still have cap room open and he proved he can play in the AFC East. Your thoughts?
Please don't tell me that the Pats will resign him because we all know he doensn't want to sit out next year behind Tom Brady.
