HISTORY OF THE PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPH
Shortly after the invention of photography in 1839, the desire to show overviews of cities and landscapes prompted photographers to create panoramas. Early panoramas were made by placing two or more daguerreotype plates, side-by-side. Daguerreotypes, the first commercially available photographic process, used silver- coated copper plates to produce highly detailed images. The first mass-produced American panoramic camera, the Al-Vista, was introduced in 1898. The following year, Eastman Kodak introduced the #4 Kodak Panoram camera that proved popular with amateur photographers. In 1911 Sears, Roebuck and Co. sold the Conley Panoramic Camera through their catalog. Mass-produced panoramic cameras worked on the swing-lens principle, used roll film, and did not need a tripod. They made small panoramas, measuring no more than twelve inches long with a field of view of almost 180-degrees. The Cirkut camera was patented in 1904. It used large format film ranging in width from 5in. to 16in. and was capable of producing a 360-degree photograph measuring up to 20 feet long. Both the camera and the film rotated on a special tripod during the exposure. Cirkut cameras were used mostly by commercial photographers to capture city views, group portraits, and special events. Twin Falls Idaho
A movie about conjoined (or "Siamese") twins and a prostitute sounds like a bad joke or a sleazy porn flick, but Twin Falls Idaho is actually an eerie, atmospheric story about love and mutual dependence. Penny (Michele Hicks) gets called to a dingy hotel room where she discovers Blake and Francis Falls (twin brothers Mark and Michael Polish). When they go into the bathroom to get her a glass of water, she flees--but forgets her purse. When she returns, Blake and Francis don't get angry; they accept her fear and horror with sad resignation. Their vulnerability draws Penny into their lives, as she learns that the illness of one twin threatens the lives of both. Twin Falls Idaho moves slowly, but the pace never drags. Voting Question: can i get some input on my plot for the story?
i need some help trying to find the perfect ending for my story and how it should tie it all together. i kind of have a vague idea but i don't know how to 'put the last nail in the coffin...' it's told in two perspectives. the man and the woman.
my story is about...
a girl (naomi) who grows up with this kid (andrew or andres... don'tk now yet) who is always picked on and physically abused by his parents to the point that he goes crazy. she's gone to school with him almost her whole entire life and her heart breaks for him but she's too ashamed to step up and defend him. so she just sits back and lets him take those beatings.
the boy hates the girl but knows that he's already fallen in love with her. he promises to himself that he'd take revenge on all those who had hurt him. he's very involved in the politics at his school but drops out in college. a few years later he becomes a corrupt but rich senator from idaho and eventually runs for president. he abuses his power as president and declares war on the world.
(during this time our natural resources of gas and oil are very little and everyone has conformed to using eco friendly things hoping that over time the supply of nonrenewable resources will be replenished... and there's some tense relationships between the alliances of many countries)
the president is smart enough not to start the war just because. america has huge secret oil reserves in alaska and parts of canada which they share and make huge profits from selling. and he provokes germany to attack their reserves by cracking it open and allowing the americans to use it freely.
he also create something called 'breeding stations' where newborns are allowed to register and it's sort of like a day care. it's supposed nurture the kids until they're ready to go to school. but instead the president uses it to create soldiers. everyday the children are either injected or consume a special growth hormone substance (depending if they're a baby or a toddler and older) which makes them grow faster physically and mentally. which allows them to generate more soldiers faster.
the woman (naomi)'s son is a victim of that. he's taken away at birth because of his father who sends him to the breeding stations against naomi's will because he thinks it's good for him. (but naomi's husband doesn't really know what the real purpose for the breeding stations) so they have no idea what each other looks like.
naomi's part is basically about all the regret and blaming of herself for what happened to andrew and her life as she lives through all the consequences of his actions. and her son as he grows up eventually forms a group of assasins to kill the president. and naomi's husband is a head doctor and CEO of all the breeding stations but he's blind to all that is happening.
andrew's part is basically all about his hate for mankind and about revenge. i want him to have a change of heart because i want him to be dynamic but i don't know how i should do that.
in the end i sort of plan out that naomi and andrew meet each other where andrew confronts naomi about how he knows that she never helped him and that she was selfish. as he plans to kill her he is shot by naomi's son and ... well yeah that's all i got...
i'm also not really sure if i should reveal to the character that naomi is his mother or if i should keep them in the dark. naomi meets her son in Great Britain because she was assigned to be a military nurse there.
so i mean ... yeah... it's a little different from the 'girl got pregnant by her teenage boyfriend or got raped and is pregnant or likes a boy who doesn't like her back and eventually ends up killing herself... ' stories... that i could be writing... but i hope that the above story is original...
any input would really help! sorry it's infinitely long! thank you!

I think what happened is a terrible shame, surely the father is overcome with grief.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ? The father of an 11-year-old girl who died, likely of hypothermia, after trying to walk 10 miles in the snow on Christmas Day has been charged with second-degree murder and felony injury to a child.
Robert Aragon, 55, of Jerome, made an initial appearance Monday in 5th District Court, where Judge Mark Ingram appointed a public defender for him. The judge denied Aragon's request to lower his $500,000 bond. He was being held in the Blaine County Jail.
Aragon was emotional during the short hearing. He banged his head on the defendant's table as Ingram read the charges against him, The Times-News reported. After Ingram noted that second-degree murder carries a maximum penalty of life in prison, Aragon said "Oh my God" as he banged his head on the table one final time.
Sage Aragon and her 12-year-old brother, Bear, were with their father on Thursday when his truck got stuck in a snow drift near state Highway 75, north of Shoshone in southcentral Idaho, according to the Lincoln County sheriff's office.
