What is the Electric Fly Swatter / Racquet Bug Zapper? It?s a tennis racquet shaped bug sapper! You've seen those electric bug zappers at outdoor restaurants and such, right? Every now and then, you hear a sharp "ZAP," telling you that a fly or mosquito has just been toasted. Well, some malicious inventor has put this bug-zapping technology into a tennis racquet! It's easy to use... it's effective... it's good exercise... and it's fun! Whenever a bug flies into your path, you just activate the Racquet Zapper, take a swing, and ...ZAP, no more bug! Not hunting season? Who cares! Pick up your Racquet Zapper and go on an exciting bug hunting expedition. The Racquet Zapper comes with everything you need to start zapping...
Just Zap The Flying Bugs with a Simple Wave of our Electric Fly Swatter! It's not fun running around the backyard barbecue, trying to find a way to squash all the flying insects. Now, the electric fly swatter (it looks like a tennis racket) makes it fun. Easily kill all flying insects such as mosquitos, flies, and gnats, just by waving at them with the electric fly swatter. And, it's small enough to take with you, wherever you go. The output power is relatively low, constituting no real hazard to humans or pets. The insect zapper has no smell, and contains no poisonous or harmful materials. However, the net will become hot when activated, so please keep away from your skin, and from children.
Made of 3 layers of net in order to reduce the chances of a contact between skin and electricity.

Bartók: Mikrokosmos, Sz.107/44 Duos for 2 Violins, Sz.98

Complete recordings of
Mikrokosmos are relatively common these days, but aside from guiding students I wonder what purpose they serve. This is a series of piano study pieces starting at the most basic level, and the music with genuine listening interest really begins only with Book 3 (of 6). Similarly the duets are mostly teaching pieces, and though they make for good listening in small groups, the entire series becomes tiresome. Bartók wrote magnificent music, and the later books of
Mikrokosmos are filled with superb little pieces. But though the performances in this set are all excellent, not much of the music is basic Bartók.

Resolved Question: what do you think of my story so far?
i didn't think of a title or anything for it yet, infact i dont even know if i'll finish it.
its not the best but i'm only 15 so i still have alot of time to improve on my writing skills.
My heart was pounding inside of my chest. I could feel butterflies flapping furiously in my stomach as the bus turned slowly into the school bus loop. My nightmare was beginning. The first day of a new school. I sighed as I thought of all the possible ways I could embarrass myself today. I stared out the window at the
I moved here to this large, cold city of Chicago, Illinois just a few mere days ago. But it seems like a lot longer than that. My whole life I?d lived in the heat and the sun of White Springs, Florida with my Father, Robert Brooks. Well? actually not my whole life, but for the past ten years. I was only five at the time when my mom couldn?t afford the rent of our apartment, and had to get another part time job at a local diner. She was gone all day, and wasn?t home enough to take care of me. But here I was again, ten long years of living with my dad later. I sighed as the faded yellow bus stopped right in front of the entrance to Lakeside High School, its tires squeaking and sliding in the snow as it slowed. Kids piled out, itchy to get off the too warm and crowded vehicle. I held my breath as I stepped carefully onto the old concrete walk that led to the doors, expecting it to be icy, but found that large pieces of salt had been thickly scattered all the way up to the doors.
As soon as I walked in the large cafeteria I felt my self conscious level shoot up, and I tried to remember what I was wearing under the soft brown coat I had borrowed from my mother this morning. I never really paid much attention to? or really cared about fashion, or what was in or not, but a small sigh of relief escaped me when I remembered the blue fleece shirt I had thrown on today. I walked up the big stairway carefully; the last thing I wanted was to fall flat on my face going up the stairs.
I decided I would stop by my new locker before going to my first hour. I yanked out a folded piece of paper that was my schedule from my jeans and searched for the number. 1182 I repeated to myself over and over again in my head. The halls were starting to fill up as the minutes went by, making it harder for me to see. My height was not one of my best qualities. I then remembered the map I had in my other pocket that showed all the floors of the school. I unfolded it and helplessly looked for where I was, not feeling like asking anyone for directions. It was on the third floor, on the other side of the school apparently. Damnit. I was going the wrong way. Still looking at the map, I swung myself around and shoved myself through the growing herd of kids. I saw another tower of stairs just past the main office, but before I could start walking towards them, someone bashed into me, knocking my body sideways and sending my books flying. I hit the white tiled floor with a thud. ?Oh my God, are you okay?!? A worried voice asked before I could react. ?I?m so sorry, I didn?t see you?? I looked up to see a small girl with long strawberry blonde hair and clear blue eyes staring at me, her expression worried. She outstretched her hand and I took it, smiling friendly at her. ?It?s ok. Don?t worry about it.? I brushed myself off once I got to my feet and she helped me gather my things, looking curiously at me. ?Hey? are you new here? I can?t remember seeing you before.? ?Yep, First day. My names Kaelyn Bryers.? Her smile widened and she held out her hand. ?Amy Benhorn, Nice to meet you.? Just as I shook it, the bell sounded in one long ring. ?Crap!? I said. ?We?re late. I don?t even know where I?m going, either.? I looked around me and realized the hall was practically empty now. Amy?s laughter startled me. ?Relax. I?m tardy all the time; they don?t do anything about it. You?re a junior right? What?s your first class?? Algebra I began to say, but she already had my schedule in her hands. ?Mrs. Boughtman? she mumbled. ?I know where that is, I have her second hour. Come on.? She walked in front of me and gestured for me to follow her. When we reached the top of the winding stairs, she led me down a wide hallway with pieces of trash and paper carelessly thrown on the carpeted floor. At the second to last door she stopped. ?Here you go. Good luck.? Her warm smile illuminated her heart-shaped face. ?Hey you can sit at my table today at lunch if you like. You have it after fourth period, right? ?Yeah, thanks, I?d love to. That?s one thing I don?t have to worry about today.? She laughed, then waved goodbye.
My hours basically went the same way. I had to go through the whole ?new student? thing, getting introduced and stared at as the bell rang, my face automatically turning pink. Lunch came and went, along with fifth hour and sixth hour and soon it was the end of the day. I went to the front office to find my bus number, for it was so dark this

Voting Question: Does the news blackout of Israel murdering Palestinians show who controls our country?
Amnesty International and other human rights organizations have decried Israel's continued aerial bombing campaign as unlawful and denounced the killing of more than 300 Palestinians since 27 December, including scores of unarmed civilians not taking part in the hostilities. Israel's attacks on the densely populated Gaza Strip also elicited condemnation from numerous world politicians and sparked protests in global cities.
Despite international outcry over escalating violence, the U.S. mainstream media continues to privilege a prepackaged narrative in which Israel's actions are never disproportionate, never counterproductive and certainly never gratuitous. According to the mainstream media, the U.S. must continue uncompromisingly supporting Israel because the allegedly beleaguered democracy is held hostage by monomaniacal Islamofascists who are inherently evil. Promoting a paradigm in which Israel is always David up against Goliath, the U.S. media presents suffering Palestinians as expendable for the greater cause of Israel winning its epic struggle. To justify U.S.'s carte blanche to Israel, the mainstream media restricts American readers to an echo chamber in which the following claims are repeated ad nausem until they are mistaken for fact:
1. Israel has a legal and moral right to bomb Gaza out of defense Security concerns are not and never have been a tolerable justification for pre-emptive attacks. Israel's decision to bomb Gaza represents a major assault on the international rule of law. The law of occupation is one of the oldest and most developed branches of international humanitarian law. An occupying power is obliged to follow the 1949 Fourth Geneva Convention, which protects the civilian population. The United Nations Security Council held in 1979 that the Fourth Convention did apply in the territories seized by Israel in 1967. Article 48 of the additional protocol is clear that Israel, as an occupying power, has obligations: "The Parties to the conflict shall at all times distinguish between the civilian population and combatants and between civilian objects and military objectives and accordingly shall direct their operations only against military objective." The latest Israeli attacks come on top of a brutal siege of the Gaza Strip which has created a humanitarian catastrophe of dire proportions for Gaza's beleaguered Palestinian residents by restricting the provision of food, fuel, medicine, electricity, and other necessities of life. "International law is not observed with respect to Israeli policies towards the Gaza Strip, Israel continues to reinforce an occupation whose every element violates international humanitarian law, and particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention," notes Jeff Halper, an Israeli-American Anthropologist, author, lecturer, political activist, and co-founder and Coordinator of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions.
2. Israeli citizens live in constant fear of Hamas rockets Since 2005 Hamas has fired some 6,300 rockets from Gaza at Israel, killing 10 people.[1] In just the last four days, Israel has reduced the Gaza Strip to rubble and killed over 300 Palestinians. During the ongoing four-decade-long brutal occupation of historic Palestine and the recent grotesquely inhumane blockade of Gaza, Palestinian deaths have far outnumbered Israeli deaths. Since September 29, 2000, approximately 123 Israeli children have been killed by Palestinians whereas 1,050 Palestinian children have been killed by Israelis. Since September 29, 2000, a total of 1,062 Israelis and no fewer than 4,876 Palestinians were killed in the conflict.[2]
3. Hamas refuses to recognize the right of Israel to exist and has never made any concessions As Seth Ackerman of Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR) notes, there is no need to euphemize Hamas' history of brutal tactics or its bellicose ideology, but Hamas has signaled its potential willingness to accept a two-state settlement and make other concessions to broker peace.[3] Hamas has also made tentative offers of a long-term "hudna," or truce, albeit with less gusto than Israel demands.
4. Israel is only targeting Hamas headquarters Gaza, one of the most densely populated tracts of land in the world, is home to about 1.3m Palestinians, about 33% of whom live in United Nations-funded refugee camps.[4] Avoiding civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip during aerial raids is comparable to trying to avoid such casualties in Washington DC, New York City or Los Angeles. "Because Gaza is so densely populated, there is no such thing as precision strike - you have glass, brick, shrapnel flying into people's homes," notes Ewa Jasiewicz, a volunteer with the Free Gaza Movement.[5]
5. Attacking Hamas will help Israel achieve security There is no doubt that the recent attacks will only embolden and multiply Israel's detractors. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a religious decree to Muslims around the world o

Resolved Question: But Why Did the Utah Highway Patrolman Target Truckers?
He shot at two trucks, and killed one trucker. He killed one 4 wheeler earlier.
A former Utah policeman is a suspect in at least three of Monday's four rush-hour shootings near Dallas, Texas, including one of two fatal attacks, police said Tuesday.CNN affiliate KSL in Salt Lake City, Utah, provided this file photo of the Dallas suspect, Brian Smith.

The suspect, Brian Smith, tried to commit suicide after the Monday-evening shootings and was in a hospital in serious condition, Dallas police detective Lt. Craig Miller said.
Police used ballistic tests to link Smith, a Utah state police officer for 12 years, to the shootings in which one driver was killed, one was injured by shattered glass and one escaped uninjured, Dallas police detective Lt. Craig Miller said.
Miller said it is unclear if Smith was involved in the other fatal shooting, which was the first attack of the evening.
Four motorists were attacked along a three-mile stretch near and on the LBJ Freeway, about 10 miles northeast of downtown Dallas, on Monday evening, police said.
The first attack, which happened in Garland, Texas, about 5:41 p.m., killed Jorge Lopez. Garland police said Lopez, 20, was sitting in his Nissan at a traffic light when a man in a pickup pulled alongside him and fired shots into his car, killing him.
A few minutes after the Garland shooting and two miles away on LBJ Freeway, a gunman fired at two tractor-trailers.

* WFAA: Read local coverage of the shootings
While one driver escaped injuries, William Scott Miller, 42, of Frankfort, Kentucky, was shot to death behind the wheel of a United Van Lines truck, police said.
"He was going to be traveling home," Craig Miller said. "He was about to park his rig. He was going to get on a plane to fly to be with his wife and children for the Christmas season and then come back to this location."
Miller called the truck driver a hero, saying he was able to control his rig before he died -- preventing other motorists from being hurt.
The fourth attack came a mile west on LBJ Freeway when gunfire shattered the windshield of another tractor-trailer. The bullets missed the driver, but flying glass caused minor cuts, police said.
Miller said video from the Garland shooting is available, and specialists were trying to enhance it to bring out details. Businesses along the other routes also may have video that will help police, he said.
A friend of Lopez's said he was "a straight-up good guy, never had problems with anybody, never started anything with anybody."
"So that's why this seems so out of the blue," Lopez's friend said.
