I've been stuggling with depression for a few years but generally keep it under wraps; I don't like it when people broadcast their feelings for everything. But it got to be too much... I had a lot of personal issues my sophomore year of high school and it took a toll. Over the summer I would lie in bed for days and quit my camp counselor job. Then Junior year started and I didn't do the extra curriculars I had before and just went home to sleep; I wasn't motivated enough to do my homework, clean my room, join clubs, even dress properly. I use to be the 'funny girl' but many people have commented that I'm just not anymore... I barely talk. My mom kept complaining and told me to stop acting like I was in a coma and I told her that I really wanted to see a therapist. She said okay, that she would get referrals. But this was in September... I reminded her last week and she got annoyed and said, "can't you just talk to your friends or something?" I don't know what to do because I'm failing two classes and dying seems like no big deal to me. I am NOT suicidal, I just have no desire to live and its freaking me out. What can I do? - I don't have any close adults... - My friends are very preppy and happy and I don't want them to know I'm like this, nor would they! - The counseling office at my high school is only for college and such. Blue has been determined to cause a significant impact on the psychological standings of ones attitude- to calm and comfort. I was not. The bitch sitting next to me had just kicked my bag out of the way for her much more substantial, intricately designed rolling cart. Well isn?t she special. The mid-life crisis four rows in front of me chuckles at my expression of ?who the fuck do you think you are?. Apparently I look very much like a tease to older men when I have just woken from a long nap on the last flight, creating a messy, ?oh yes, I just slept with someone-joining the mile-high club look?. I should prep myself like this every morning. Damn I look sexy with these bags under my eyes from the cheap mascara I put on this morning in the airport bathroom- I wouldn?t possibly want to lose anything expensive to the ?no liquids? game at security check. Why is it people can?t choose one blue seat. All blue seats are the same. all metal arm rests are just as perfectly placed as the next to hit the funny bone next to the elbow. Are people meant to be built with a 90 degree angle straight up from their crotch because I sure as hell have some deformity if so. God damnit..Theyre boarding. I get to be funneled into a tunnel that smells like Indian food traveling across the world, placed in all airports for the u.s. government to prove that ?code orange-there could definitely be a terrorist attack?please mind your baggage and look for anyone suspiciously smelling of curry chicken and rice.? During my high school years, I tried various clubs and sports like tennis, marching band, computer club, chess club, academic decathlon, etc. I had talked to countless people and invested my energy, time and knowledge to them. Obviously none came to me as a friend and I had to take the initiative to talk to them first. It seems that I try so hard to make them their friend that they think I'm desperate. They tend to avoid me because they think I'm pretty unusual with interest in world affairs, miltary, history, politics, The works of machiavelli and the bible. Also they knew that I rat on dozens of kids because they were harrassing me for years and making stupid jokes at me. Is ratting a bad thing? I had to fend off these hooligans and fight my way through torrent of vicious a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s from all corners of school( I choked some of them, told the vice principle on them, personally fought them) and for what? the entire class to ignore me like I'm some outcast huh?. They have never felt the ounce of pain in their life and probably cry in their room hugging mommy and do sucide when they get ganged by every body. I even tried juggling, internet jokes, funny youtube prank call videos, drawing comics, making up stories, etc. I don't even know how to use facebook, AIM, doesn't have an so called Ipod, expensive cellphones, Skullcandy Bmws, electric guitars, psp, wii, xbox 360. I been a good frugal boy for dad and good to my parents, and for what.... I get nothing but pain, misery, loneliness, spiritual and mental anguish and total desolation. When I get back home, brother, mom and dad bicker and fight and I'm forced to listen to that bickering almost everyday. It makes me really angry and sometimes I beat my brother, call dad a homo and tell mom to shut the he.ll up. Making friends is really hard and I'm worried that I might be left alone in college years. I guess I'm the giver but I didn't recieve any thing in return. (more...)

Okay I've been asking about giving a mix CD to a girl that I like who's a year younger than me. Most of you guys have been saying it was a good, romantic idea...but others disagree. Here's the question I've been asking: "I'm a sophomore and I've known this freshman girl since the beginning of the year and I've always kinda liked her. Well I plan to tell her by giving her a mix CD of songs that describe how I feel about her and that kinda describe my personality (we know each other well but not as well as I'd like). I was gonna put a little note inside describing exactly how I feel. Anyway I wanted to know if this was a good idea and if my song choices were good. here's the track list: 1.
