This quality product is 8 x 10 in size. It is double matted. Verse is...... Looking Back, Mom...... Until I became much older, Mom...... There was just no way I could know,...... The sacrifices you must have made,...... As you watched your children grow....... I didn't consider how tired you were,...... At the end of every long day,...... Or appreciate the meals you cooked......... I was clueless, I guess you could say....... I never thought of the time you spent,...... Tending to all of our needs,...... Putting us first each step of the way......... And that's how your life story reads....... Now, without question, I understand,...... A phrase that still rings in my ear,...... "There's a special place in heaven for Moms"...... Looking back...makes it all the more clear!......

ShalinCraft Lampshades Multicolored Applique Embroidered Fabric Indian-Style
ShalinCraft Lampshades Multicolored Applique Embroidered Fabric Indian-Style Enjoy these lovely, colorful applique embroidered lampshades handmade in India. Among the traditional textiles of India, the art of applique work occupies a distinguished place. Applique, which is a French term, is a technique by which the decorative effect is obtained by superposing patches of colored fabrics on a basic fabric, the edges of the patches being sewn in some form of stitching. The base cloth is usually colored. Some of the specially prepared motifs have exclusive embroidery work and some have mirror work. It is Orissa and especially in Pipli that the craft has a living and active tradition continuing over centuries. As with many other handicrafts of Orissa, the roots of the applique craft form is interwined with the traditions of Lord Jagannath, the deity of the Puri temple. The applique items are mainly used during processions of the deities in their various ritual outings. The stitching process varies from item to item and come under six broad categories. Sometimes embroidered patterns are also used and in a few items mirror work is incorporated. The layout of various motifs and patterns vary according to the shape of the piece. Of the more common motifs are the elephant, parrot, peacock, ducks, creepers, trees, flowers like lotus, jasmine, half moon, the Sun and Rahu.

In the Valley of Elah
In the Valley of Elah In career Army officer Hank Deerfield's worldview, the American military exists to bring order to the world, and honor and dignity to every one of its soldiers. As played by Tommy Lee Jones, in a layered performance that will haunt the viewer long after the film is over, Deerfield wears the Army life like he does his standard-issue white T-shirts--unconsciously making a cheap motel bed with crisp inspection-ready corners. Yet if war is hell, the purgatory for the relatives of damaged soldiers can cause far more anguish, and Paul Haggis' quietly devastating In the Valley of Elah tells this story through Deerfield, who is desperately trying to piece together the fate of his adored son Mike, a soldier in Iraq.

Mike's company has returned from duty, but he is missing; Hank flies from Tennessee to Fort Rudd in the Southwest, to conduct his own investigation into the disappearance. There he meets a smart but put-upon police officer (Charlize Theron, glammed-down but still showing a bit too much sexy collarbone for a cop) who also smells something off in the Army's official story of the disappearance. The two form an unlikely team, but as a friend tells Deerfield early on, "You gotta trust somebody sometime, Hank," and Mike's vanishing is Hank's tipping point.

As Hank pieces together the horrifying story of Mike's fate, the incremental pain becomes etched in Jones' ragged features, and the camera captures all of it--far more powerfully than could a million words of reportage from the front lines. Theron's performance is also strong, and Susan Sarandon is moving if underutilized as Hank's grief-stricken wife, robbed of the simple nuclear family life she so wanted. "They shouldn't send heroes to places like Iraq," says one of Mike's buddies late in the film, and it's the viewers' collective sorrow--and the film's great achievement--to feel that at the deepest human level. --A.T. Hurley

Open Question: nursing mare getting skinny fast?
i have a 22 yr old quarter hose mare who foaled 4 weeks ago. i have only had her 6 weeks. we were rescuing her for retirement and 2 weeks after she was home SURPRISE....we have a foal. she is eating 6 cups(a wet 6 cup measuring cup full) of mare and foal feed. all the hay she can handle and her water bucket is never empty. she was wormed 2 weeks ago and she wastes no feed out the side of her mouth so her teeth don't need floated. the foal just recently had his feet trimmed and is growing extremely well. this is her 3rd foal. in the last 2 weeks or so she has been dropping weight. her withers spine and hips are sticking out alot. nearly 2 inches. after the foal she sunk in a little bit but was still nice and full. shes still acting normal eating well and has spunk. im concerned that something could be wrong with her. any advice would be greatly appreciated. how fast should i increase her feed to remain safe for her system? Open Question: Is it possible for us to buy a 180,00-200,000 dollar home?
Combined income yearly is 55,000. His credit score is around 750 and mine is 700. Our monthly bills are 1 car payment of 250.00 and 1 credit card with a 500.00 balance?. That?s all! No student loans or anything? I also have a simple IRA that I contribute 100 dollars to a month (if that helps any). We have 19,700.00 in savings (willing to spend for down payment). Now, the problems are?.He has only been at his job for year and 2 months?and I have only been at my job for 9 months. Our jobs are good, I have a retirement plan thru them, already received 2 raises since I started and I have health benefits?the last problem?I?m 21 and he is only 23 and I have a feeling that no bank will loan us money for being so young? We have been dating for 5+ years and want to move out together?but DO NOT want to pay rent?rather own?and with houses being as cheap as they are and interest rates being low AND maybe with the help of a FHA loan?.Tell me what you think ;) Thanks! Open Question: How much nudity/sex scenes the movie called "Three days to Vegas" (Retirement) has?
If you have seen that movie what sex/nudity does it have? My little brother has brought this movie to home. If it has any sex/nudity can you explain what is that? I checked it on kidsonmymind.com and imdb but couldn't find much information about it. (more...)

Open Question: I'm 27 years old. I can't stand spending time with my mother. She's getitng old and wants us to live together.?
What horror! I have nothing in common with her, we're not close and she's never really given me the time of day while growing up. I really do not want to share a house with her as she does not respect my privacy and she knows no boundaries. And everything goes because "she's the mother" and I should I obey and honour her. She refuses to stay in an old age/retirement home. So should living in my own house be a misery. and spending time with her? All she ever does is bring up the past and how people wronged her and how she helped them and got nothing in return. She moans that no one visits her yet she does not make an effort to get to know other people and good friends. She frustrates me so! Please help. I'll be grateful for any advise. The other thing I was thinking is to perhaps get a house with a granny flat. Then I know she's not gonna be in my face all day. The problem is: price of homes like these and educating my neighbour (mother) about when she may/may not visit me. She can't stay with anyone else. (more...)

Open Question: What to say to someone who lost their job and is losing their home?
My husband and I were waiting in the doctors office and this woman began talking with us about the politics on tv, and then told us that she had lost her job and was now losing her home. My husband is not wealthy, but makes a decent income with military retirement and now that he is in his late 60's add social security. So whereas we don't have a lot of expendable money, we don't go without basics. My husband always dresses nice and grooms himself well. We have nice coats that look good even though they are 4 years old. I think the woman thought we were quite wealthy. I felt uncomfortable seeming to be doing well when her life was going so badly. I was at a loss for words. What would be an appropriate reaction next time this comes up? (more...)

Open Question: Why do i feel this way about my future?
im a guy at the age of 16. I got to a prestigious school where your told you will achieve. My future is close but yet so far from my dreams. Like, i want to go to college, i want to start a family but i don't want to work a confined job in a cubicle or see sick patients then come home tired to the bone like my father. I want to be so much more, to help pay off my parents debts, help build my church a building that's permanent and move children. I really want to become a rapper, not a rapper who's mainstream pop , a rapper who speaks the truth, who presents God and troubles in a way that people can relate. Or even write a book and change people's perception of life and its obstacles. All of these seem achievable and a lot more appealing to me.Then coming home tired and waiting for retirement like you want your life to end. Maybe im just rambling but this is how i feel. How do you think i can see the benefits in those jobs? How do you think i can be motivated to keep going? (more...)
