Resolved Question: I am considering applying for Cosmetology School....need some advice and opinions. Please read!?
Ok I am 19, got married in Sept. of 08 and am currently 8 weeks pregnant (yes it was planned). I attending the College of Southern Idaho during highschool and for 2 semesters out of high school. I was majoring in the health department but I have recently had a change of heart for some reason. Cosmetology has always interested me but I pushed it out of my mind because people were always telling me they don't make much money. Well come to find out they can make a decent living if they know what they are doing. Anyway, I am interested in applying the the Cosmetology School of Arts and Sciences in Idaho. Does anyone know anything about this school? Even if you don't know about this school, if you know any helpful info about cosmetology or something related please feel free to answer. I would be very greatful! Thank you

Resolved Question: My husband and I want to take a train trip out west...?
We're thinking of either heading out to Montana/Idaho or Colorado/Utah in mid-April. We would be bringing our 2 children. I checked out the Amtrak website, but didn't find it very helpful. I want to see what routes are available from either Milwaukee or Chicago and much the tickets would be. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Voting Question: Can someone help me figure out how to get my girlfriend back.?
I am 16 years old, and I live in Springfield, Oregon. My girlfriend was taken away to Blackfoot, Idaho (by her parents) against her will. She is miserable over there. Her guardians don't let her go outside unless it's for school, and she's not allowed to talk on the phone, or write letters. She's 16 as well, FYI. I need a way to get over there and safely bring her back here. I kinda already have a plan, but I need about $500 to do it. So if any one knows any jobs that 16 year old kids could easily get, that would be extremely helpful. But if anyone has any other possible plans or suggestions, I would really appreciate that too. I really love her, and I hate the fact that she is so unhappy over there. Please help me get her back!
I know I'm only 16, but there's no question that It's love. We already have a serious relationship, and leaving her is ABSOLUTELY NOT an option!

Resolved Question: Interesting Biden/palin tidbits....This debate should be interesting!?
This made me chuckle....I can't wait to watch her tonight! ...Any bets on, Saturday Night Live, having to do a special two hour episode after the debate? Lol
1. Biden double majored in history and political science. Double majoring is DIFFICULT. But he did pick two useful subjects for a VP to have, don't you think? And even getting INTO Syracuse Law is an achievement. And law degree might be helpful in a future career as a LAW MAKER in the Senate, ya' think?
2. By contrast, Palin in 1982, enrolled at Hawaii Pacific College but left after her first semester. Didn't go so well for her I guess
3. Then she transferred to North Idaho community college, where she spent two semesters as a general studies major. General Studies!?!?!?!?!
4. Then she transferred to the University of Idaho for two semesters. Again, I guess college didn't agree with her.
5. Then she attended Matanuska-Susitna community college in Alaska for one term - on a scholarship she got from...wait for it... Winning the Ms. Wasila Beauty Pagent and then placing 3rd in Miss Alaska! What, you thought she'd get an scholarship on ACADEMIC MERITS?!?!?! And again, she only lasted 1 term there.
6. Finally she returned to the University of Idaho where she spent three semesters completing her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism, graduating in 1987. How the hell does COMMUNICATION-JOURNALISM prepare you to run the fuing country!?!?!?!?
Hockey- "Still managed to be a successful Governor"...? She hasn't proven that yet, she hasn't been Gov. long enough. She did however, take a small town she was mayor of and leave them with a Huge debt.
"What kind of education do you really get in school?"...? That is an ignorant comment. If you think, "colleges and universities have a liberal bias"...perhaps if you have children or will someday, you should try to keep them from attending one. Wouldn't want them to think outside the box would we?
"Answer a simple question"...Have you listened to any of Palins interviews?....It would be laughable if it were not so frightening!
I never stated that I wanted a "New type of politician....I want new voters!!!!!!
You say I should "wake up"...I am awake enough to know that you have, NO CLUE!!!!

Also what is the best way to go about getting a job in Law Enforcement after I graduate? and is there any programs where the department I get hired for can help me pay off some of my loans I took out for school? Any way you could answer these questions would be very helpful to me thanks..

Voting Question: What is the best way to build a new lawn? Rototill and seed or sod? ?
Our new house has a backyard that is a little over .1 of an acre. It was not maintained at all, and it largely consists of hard packed dirt, dead grass, and lots of weeds. It's mostly level with some dips and holes. We have an underground sprinkler system. Fertilizer, seed, and watering haven't helped at all. What should I do?
Options that have been advised to me include scraping the entire top layer off with a bobcat and doing new topsoil and sod, rototilling and raking to level the dirt then seeding or resodding, or power raking/aerating and then hydroseeding.
I've got about a year to get the yard looking nice, because I'm graduating soon and shipping off to the USAF in August of next year, so we need to be able to sell the house.
I'm in Boise, Idaho, if that tells you the climate information.
Advice on types of grass to do would be helpful as well. After tilling/scrapping/aerating or other, what fertilizer or something should I put down to help the new growth?
Thanks!
