Perhaps the most high-powered tribute band in the history of rock, Hand of Doom is the supergroup side project of Melissa Auf Der Maur (Auf De Maur, Hole, Smashing Pumpkins). A movie about conjoined (or "Siamese") twins and a prostitute sounds like a bad joke or a sleazy porn flick, but Twin Falls Idaho is actually an eerie, atmospheric story about love and mutual dependence. When they go into the bathroom to get her a glass of water, she flees--but forgets her purse. When she returns, Blake and Francis don't get angry; they accept her fear and horror with sad resignation. Their vulnerability draws Penny into their lives, as she learns that the illness of one twin threatens the lives of both. Twin Falls Idaho moves slowly, but the pace never drags. The lush cinematography is drenched in color; the makeup, costumes, and set design feel not quite contemporary and combine to give the movie a dislocated, otherworldly look. TWIN FALLS, Idaho ? The father of an 11-year-old girl who died, likely of hypothermia, after trying to walk 10 miles in the snow on Christmas Day has been charged with second-degree murder and felony injury to a child.
Robert Aragon, 55, of Jerome, made an initial appearance Monday in 5th District Court, where Judge Mark Ingram appointed a public defender for him. The judge denied Aragon's request to lower his $500,000 bond. He was being held in the Blaine County Jail.
Aragon was emotional during the short hearing. He banged his head on the defendant's table as Ingram read the charges against him, The Times-News reported. After Ingram noted that second-degree murder carries a maximum penalty of life in prison, Aragon said "Oh my God" as he banged his head on the table one final time.
Sage Aragon and her 12-year-old brother, Bear, were with their father on Thursday when his truck got stuck in a snow drift near state Highway 75, north of Shoshone in southcentral Idaho, according to the Lincoln County sheriff's office.

Ok Ok . Yes we are moving towards the mark of change.However I am tired of people saying that blacks are always screaming racism . But do you blame us . I mean I read this article blacks are not over reacting they are pointing out the facts America does not wan to face .. HERE IS THE ARTICLE....In the weeks following Barack Obama's election, hateful racial incidents have surged. Some are more ominous than others, some with more impact, some just kinda stupid and annoying. Some examples: Idaho school kids chant "Assassinate Obama" on a school bus and school officials are slow to (barely) react.
"They just hadn't heard anything like this before," said Whoolery. "They were chanting on the bus, 'Assassinate Obama. Assassinate Obama.' Then adding in a name sometimes of a classmate on the bus, 'Assassinate Obama and Kate.'" The Whoolery's explained to their kids what assassinate means then contacted the school about what was happening. You say Africans come to this country and went through more things than black . Hello why do you think they left they where oppressed , killed in their own countRY. You can not compare a black to a African when it comes to American history . Africans from Africa did not immigrant to this country until the late 70's .So your statement has no substance but only shows that you hate.
@ slugger a month or two ago a black man was dragged by his ( what he thought was his white friends and killed . So you point did not prove anything wrong.

you have not one , but two teams without a conf. or D-1 victory
( and they will stay that way untill late Nov. when they go head to head. )
Your Pre-season # 2 lost to that powerhouse program UNLV ( enough said. )
The most notiable conf. win ( cal-mich st.) went to the wayside cuz Mich. St. got embarassed by the one decent team they played.
( dont spout that usc-osu crap, osu didn't have their 2 best players playing, thats like beating the old 49ers W/O Montana, and Rice , deep in your heart you know its true )
The conf. BAD A** lost to a 1-2 team ( at that time ) lets look at who else was 1-2 after 3 games Eastern Mich. , Akron , Kent St. , Miami (OH) , Temple , Idaho , Western Kentuckey , SMU .. just to name a few.
The conf. BAD A** will finish the season having played 1 ranked team ALL season.
At week 8 you only have 1 ranked team.
The best teams public rep. aka head coach, Pete Carrol ( sounds like a brady bunch x-mass episode ) is a 60 some year old man with a grey head of hair, and an S shaped boxer nose , who talks like a 16 year old, g-money white kid who's trying to be cool.
WORSE news , when one of USC's players get's dis-gruntled enough he's going to admit that his escalade was paid for by Pete's Car Wash Castle , they will FINALLY get the probation they deserve, and the conf. will not have a team good enough to even show face in the Rose Bowl.
After the good games are over we get to have one more beer and go to bed, where as you must take your wife out to dinner, cuz its only 7pm.
You start some games at 10pm et. , like the rest of the country is going to stay up untill 2am watching Arizona play UCLA. well guess what you can tell the players to relax , their's no pressure, NO BODY'S WATCHING ANYWAY
now that I've given you these FACTS, don't be upset or bitter I'ts only fair you know the TRUTH.... I'm sure everyone west of Las Vegas, will still enjoy watching your horriable games, as for the rest of the country we'd rather watch GRASS GROW. Its a hard pill to swallow so before you send your defensive answers , remember their facts...

Resolved Question: The guy who Nuked his hand from Idaho, does anyone know him?
I'm just curious who the guy is. Do we have pics, interviews of this guy yet? I think its very interesting that he cut his hand off and microwaves it because he thought it had the mark of the beast. That's beyond bizarre.

Idaho Board of Pharmacy director says Rupert store's sale of Mexican
prescription drugs breaks laws

Idaho pharmacists said a small Rupert market that sold prescription drugs from Mexico without a prescription this week acted outside the law.
Birth control and antibiotic pills were for sale Monday without prescriptions from under a glass counter at Diaz Campos Market at 507 F St. in Rupert.
Acting on a tip from a doctor in Rupert, the Times-News bought a box of Terramicina Oxitetraciclina with a Pfizer brand name, for $29.99 on Monday without a prescription.
The box, printed in Spanish, states the drug is from Mexico and requires a doctor's note to buy.
Tetracycline, which the product may or may not contain, is an antibiotic that requires a prescription in the U.S.
Selling a Mexican version of the drug at a non-pharmacy without prescriptions breaks state and federal laws in America, said Idaho Board of Pharmacy Executive Director Mark Johnston.
It also could pose health risks, said Dr. Cathy Engle, a Twin Falls family practice doctor.
Store owner Bonifacio Diaz Campos said through a Spanish-speaking translator Tuesday that he didn't know it was illegal to sell the drugs. He said he wasn't sure exactly where the drugs came from, and assumed they were flu medication.
Campos said he will not sell the drug anymore at his store, and asked to have a list of products that are prohibited for sale in America.
The Idaho Board of Pharmacy oversees licensed pharmacies, and wouldn't have jurisdiction over the Rupert store, said Johnston.
"Obviously that's an illegal activity," Johnston said. "It's illegal on many levels. We will contact police."
Doug Fuchs, pharmacist with Dick's Pharmacy in Twin Falls inspected the tetracycline purchased by the Times-News from Campos' store.
He said pills purchased at Campos' store didn't have numbers on them - a standard for prescription medications sold in America. He also said his pharmacy would charge less money than Campos' store had for legal American tetracycline with a prescription.
"It has a Pfizer imprint but it may not be a Pfizer product," said Fuchs. "We have no (oral) antibiotics sold over-the-counter in the U.S."
Taking expired pills can cause liver damage. Antibiotics are prescribed by a doctor in America because of potentially harmful drug interactions and resistance, Engle said.
This is the first time Fuchs, Johnston and Engle said they've heard of a local store selling prescription medication from Mexico without prescriptions in America.
Rita Chappelle, spokeswoman for the federal Food and Drug Administration said her agency doesn't know how often pharmaceuticals are smuggled illegally into the country. "Whenever we find it we go after it ... The scope of the problem is they're smuggling."
Lori Haley, spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also said cases like this are apparently rare. "(ICE agents) don't have any information on any cases relevant to Idaho like this."
ICE for three years investigated a case of Mexican prescription drug smuggling that ended in an indictment of Alejandro Herrera, 58, in April out of El Paso, Texas. He allegedly smuggled pharmaceutical drugs since 2000 from Mexico to businesses in Detroit and Chicago, according to an ICE press release.
TwinFalls Police and Idaho State Police recently seized about 20 bottles of Mexican alcohol allegedly being sold illegally at two Mi Pueblo bakery markets in Twin Falls and Buhl. Charges have not been issued and police are still trying to determine exactly how the alcohol got into America, said Twin Falls Police Capt. Matt Hicks.
The owner of the store, Esidro Nieto, has said he didn't know selling the alcohol was illegal.
