Resolved Question: I have just been promoted to a position of manager, I was chosen over 3 persons with more tenure.?
Of course, I am getting the "cold shoulder", even though these 3 people have "an attitude", they are still doing their job. I have been moving "onward and upward", doing my job, treating them with respect, being nice to them as though nothing is wrong. They are very short with me, and I see them off in a corner, "talking". Two of them have been talked to, by upper management, without me asking. (Upper management is telling me this after the fact.) They were going to talk to the third one, but I ask them not to, I would like the opportunity to talk to her first. Am I doing the right thing, by leading in this manner? (more...)

Resolved Question: Can I test if Galaxy 2001 V6 24v coil on each plug is firing on all plugs?
My Ford galaxy V6 2.8 24V engine is misfiring badly, all i know is it is apparently on two of the cylinders according to the garage, they can carry out a full diagnosis, but of course it is very expensive for the diagnosis alone, without fixing it. These engines don't have a coil pack as such, the 2001- onward models have a coil on each plug i believe, can i make a basic assesment if the fault lies with a coil/plug unit by myself, and if so how do I do it If it is a coil/plug failure, are they only available from Ford? I have read that coil failure on the Galaxy is a common fault, the misfire is right through the revs, and i am pretty sure it is not a head problem as there is no water loss or contamination, it certainly points to electronic component, the car also has gone into safety mode, that is, being automatic it will not engage any gear above 3rd, to force speed reduction i think. In addition the engine management light is flashing or on, it fluctuates between the two. Ideas? (more...)
