Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Episode 48: The Search, Part 2
This episode concluded what amounted to a three-part story arc that began with episode 46, "The Jem'Hadar," a cliffhanger episode that ended DS9's second season and continued in episode 47, "The Search, Part I," the first installment of year three. Back on DS9 after a harrowing encounter with the Jem'Hadar, vicious warriors of the Dominion, Sisko and Dax find themselves blind-sided by the Federation's willingness to cave in to the Dominion and the Jem'Hadar on a treaty. Meanwhile, Kira tries to contact Sisko from Odo's home planet, while Odo receives his first exposure to his own people and their concept of the "great link" that connects all shapeshifters. This story provides a solid conclusion to the tale and sets up much of what comes in the next season, as the entire region becomes destabilized. It also offers real insight into Odo's life story, which is told for the first time. The DS9 part of the plot is particularly tricky, and the ending plays mind games with the viewer in ways that the average show would never dare. Still, the Dominion turns out to be a lot less forbidding than the Borg, the scariest Star Trek villain of all time. --Marshall Fine

Open Question: Looking for a script?
Hi lads,
Just wondering if anyone could help me.
I'm looking for a script that will take an image and show information about that image underneath it when it is highlighted. There will be many images so I was hoping that it would have some sort of arrow for moving left and right so that the user can browse through the images. Then when the image is clicked i would like to be able to link it to a page where there would be information about the image. I amn't looking for anyone to make the script for me, I just dont know what to search for.

Open Question: HELP! My computer freezes 13 seconds after i turn it on. No matter what. ?
Ok so my computer freezes 13 seconds after i log on or if its still on the log on screen. It windows xp. The anti virus was avg free edition but it stopped updating from another virus or something and it never got deleted. Also when we would go on the internet and search something, like myspace, when you clicked on the result page it would automatically take you to some other place like a pop up and the only way we could get to other web pages was to type it in. But now right when you turn it on and it gets to the log in screen it freezes after 13 seconds and when you click log on it will work for about 13 seconds but then freeze. I don't know what to do!

Open Question: email sent through bebo causing problems?
my daughter opened an email she go on bebo and now every-time we use computer it acts crazy like closing off page, or when we search for something a page that we do no want opens up or it wont open at all. i really don't know what else to do ,i ran my Norton anti virus but still have the problem. since found out it was some sort of virus as she keeps getting emails from friends and they have not sent her any. all help greatly appreciated.

Open Question: When I use Google and other search engines, the first page's links don't work. What's wrong?
It shows the results that I want, but the URL it lists is for various spyware or anitvirus sites, along with some shopping sites. If I go to the second page of results, the links work. How do I fix the problem?
It's not a matter of what I put in. For example, if I type in Iowa State University, it shows the ISU webpage and info as normal, but the url it lists in green is www.bestwebchoices.com. So it's not really what it is saying it is. I don't know if this is some sort of virus I have, or what, but it has made google useless. When looking up colleges, it's the first hit on the first page, but that doesn't take me where I need it to now.

Open Question: Trying to find mom's friend?
I lost my mom's friend about 9 years ago. I looked for her on classmates.com, reunion.com, and peoplefinder.com. I don't want to spend money and I've searched these places periodically. She's from Guadeloupe and she might be there or in France. I tried searching the French online yellow pages for her but she wasn't in there. The problem with that is it's in French and I don't know French. Does anybody have any ideas on how to find her?
She's around 39. And also there's one that's 37.
Their names are: Danielle Azede and Diane Freckleton. Also I need something international because we doubt that Danielle is in the USA. Thanks for all your help any way.

Open Question: I am having problems with one of my yahoo messenger sites with the search invovlement sign showing want it gon?
I have tried to get rid of this involvement sign that is taking up quiet a bit of the page that I want to use for a chat to friends, I have never asked for this, and never hit the sign for involvement but still it is there, I have tried several times to go to yahoo help line directly and they just keep saying send more info and that they will get back in 24hrs or more, this is not good enough
