Resolved Question: house dammage do to urin an poo?
Ok here the dean the eletric compnay power lines have pulled a big hole in my house kinda rippied the sideing open an now we been getting mice an flying squirrels in our drop ceails in all the room now i have contacted the compnay an they sent a form that i had to fill out with estamites on the dammage it was over 11,000. an the worst port is no contractor with touch the job untill the eletric company fixes the pole cause it leaning now now this has been over 2 years this has happen i told them but they claim there no records of it till this spring i got ahold of them an that when the sent the form . It's now winter agian an we are getting more animals in the house we been finded dropping on out bed an in the babies crib an the house is starting to smell real bad of urin a poop i called the health department an they said will check it out like it was no big deal, And never showed up. But to me it is a big, cause my lil babies life could be in danger an so could mine in health matters. so any feed back would be graet cause i sure could use the help an we got in touch with our insurance an they said it was not there problem that u have to talk to the eletric caompany so i am at a stand still an haveing to clean my cloths cause the house is being over runned. thanks for your time on reading this i'll be waiting for any feed back thanks agian Danny

Resolved Question: ending my lease early?
I have a 2 yr lease and it hasn't even been a year. Moved in/signed on 2/08, ends on 02/10.
I have had partial power for 2 weeks. The first week, it flooded so they couldn't do anything. But the last 5 days the ground has been dry enough for them to fix the underground wire.
Monday, they swore someone would be out (I called at 10am) in 30mins- 1 hr. 3 hrs laer, they call me to say it'll be a couple more days, they have to have a different compnay shut off all the power.
This isn't the first time this has happened. They're refusing to reimburse me. Said I can go to a hotel to stay for a while but they're only going to pay $50 a day for that and there isn't ANY hotel in the area tat does that. I work in a hotel, I know. I'd stay where I work but we've been sold ou so that's not possible.
They won't pay to board my cats either.
I'm tired of this. I had my lawyer call them but they won't answer his calls. I found a lady that wants to buy my trialer and I found a house to rent. It'll take longer to sell the trailer, she has to be approved frst and all that, but if I decide to move to this house, what are the chances I'd have to pay rent at the trailer too? Right now, I'm withholding it until I get power. I'm just really scared right now and need some assurance my life isn't going to fall apart around me.

Resolved Question: No electricity again, so worried and upset?
I live in a mobile home. A while ago, we were ithout power for a full week. An underground wire broke. In our lease, it states that it is the responsibility of the trailer park to fix it. I called the energy compnay anyway, and they confirmed that the park would have o handle it.
Well I called the park daily and kept getting "I don't know, they should be out tomorrow".
They did refund me for the hotel stay and boarding my cats.
But on wednesday, my power went out again. Talked to the energy company and they confirmed it was a different underground wire.
I called the park on wednesday. They said someone would be out Thursday morning to fix it. Well, no one showed. So i called that afternoon, and was told "They'll be out tomorrow". I got a bit upset and tried expressing that I was really worried I'd be without power for another week...and they inturreupted me and said "Look, I don't know what happened last time but I'm telling you what I know." and just got all snotty.
I got off the phone cryng. I don't have a lot of money, my food is all spoiled and I had just bought an $80 meat bundle. It's ALL gone.
If they don't have it fixed tomorrow, I know they won't do it over the weekend. They NEVER do anything on the weekend. and by Monday it'll be 6 days without power.
Should I contact a lawyer? Last time when they actually came out to fix it, they did so in less than an HOUR yet it took them a whole week to get out.

Hi, Today i purchased a panasonic washing machine NA-F70x6, 7 kg. It's power card is different to our indian systems. After purchased the systems, my friends told that, panasonic is japan's compnay, it's electricity system is different to india. And the spare parts for the machine also not available in india. Now what to do. Any one have idea about how to use Panasonic washing machines. I live in Hyderabad, India. Thank you.

Resolved Question: My grandfather's "caregiver" (and power of attorney) has gotten a reverse mortage on his property.
I had a title compnay do a property profile and found out that the amount of the loan is at least 150K higher than the value of his home (at the time the reverse mortgage was effective 3 months ago). Right now its more like 200K higher. This is an FHA insured loan - could something fradulent be going on that would make the loan that much higher than the property value? If not, what else would drive up the loan amount that much (not just closing costs right?) Thank you.
I am not worried about inheritance, I am worried that this "caregiver" (who has already taken approx 200K in savings from my grandpa will spend the reverse mort. $ (especially if she got it in a lump sum) and there won't be anything left to pay for private in-home health care should he need it. He is 92 years old now and in the early stages of dementia. If you have never dealt with financial elder abuse, it is more difficult to fight than one might think. I have already filed reports the APS and the police - this is how I know that my grandpa's savings is gone. I should mention that none of this happened until my dad died 8 years ago.

Resolved Question: My friend left his job without completing his notice as per contract, can compnay sue him for notice pay reco
This is an Indian company, my friend left his job without serving the notice period of 2 months as per appointment letter. A loan of Rs.15000/- have also outstanding on him. Can the company sue him through by court notice? What maximum the company can do & under which Act? What is power of a legal notice in this case? Please guide us what will be the better way to settle this issue?

Voting Question: Is the power company liable for damages they cause to personal property?
The power compnay had a high side transformer, from a power provider they contract with, blow causing voltage irregularities that they admitted to which despite a surge protector fried my motherboard and hard drive and I assume my processor. Their claims department is saying that it is not their fault and they can not be held responsible for any variations in power supply and the damages if they are unforseeable. I feel justified in taking them to small claims court, but am concerned because they are a larger company and I do not have much legal experience. They or their supplier were turning the voltage on and off to replace the missing part when they "blew" something...sounds like improper maintenance or something? Thank you all ahead of time for taking the time to read this and for any help you guys can give.
