i am the most introverted peroson, in socialising terms, you would ever know. I am really shy and never start conversations of any kind at college, unless im desperate for something or need to because of team work. for about a year and a half now i have hated so much how i have no friends and am so quiet. recently though ive kind of enjoyed being an introvert. i think more like, wow im glad i dont have to just sit there and talk... cos i feel like i enjoy my own company more and do regular excercise so i get by. i dont go to parties but i guess there is some stuff i miss out on that i wish i could do like go out drinking when im a bit older or go to football matches and stuff. anyway any ideas??? Please take you're time reading this because it's long. When I was a teenager my dad died and I was already messing up in school so at that point I didn't care anymore. I never got in trouble with the police but I used to always talk in class instead of do my work. While I was at my first high school I had a lot of friends, I was never the most popular but I always had a good amount of friends. Before the next school year I went to another high school and didn't like it because I was leaving my friends. I've always been quiet when I've gone to new schools and would usually make friends after playing basketball with other kids at the school and gradually I would open up. At this new school I made friends with some kids in my P.E. class but I never hung out with them at lunch or after school. The crazy thing was that the school I was previously going to had more black kids than my new school that I was going to. It's one of the schools that has so many white students that if you're black then you're probably the only black kid in your class which sucks. I used to always eat lunch by myself but one day these two people came up to me that were brother and sister and they became my friends. I never hung out with them after school though, I just went home threw by book bag on the floor and watched t.v. all night and when my mom came home I would just lie about my homework. After my sophomore year, my grades were so bad that I was sent to "independent study" which is one step away from continuation school. Independent study is where they treat you like you're a complete idiot and give you a lot of busy work that the kids that go to regular high school aren't doing. After school I would still go home and watch t.v. but at that school they don't give you any homework and you get out at 12:00. That sounds great when you hear it but when you're in that situation you realize that the school system has given up on you which put me into a minor depression. They didn't even make you go to school everyday so I stopped going one day and gradually the days that I didn't go started to build up. I missed so many days that I was sent to continuation school which is where the bad kids and kids that didn't do their work go. Eventually I got my G.E.D. but I'm mad at myself for giving up because I didn't get to enjoy high school like I wanted to. My first high school was so great and I would've made the basketball team but my grades weren't good enough. Anyway, all the t.v. watching and isolation caught up with me because I'm 19 and still doing the same shit. I stopped talking to the siblings that I befriended at my second high school because I was so embarrassed about going to continuation school. Now whenever I go to a public place like Target or the supermarket, I don't like to stay there to long because I'm used to being by myself and not having a bunch of people around. I see beautiful girls all the time and never have any confidence to go up to them and tell them that I think they're beautiful. I wouldn't be like most guys who want to be a "player" or "hit it and quit it", I would want to get to know them. I'm still a virgin (I don't care if you laugh) and every time I see a girl I think that I wouldn't be able to please them sexually and they would cheat on me. That's what sucks about life, you could be the nicest guy in the world, make a lot of money and treat a woman with nothing but respect but if you can't please them then they don't want you. Either they cheat on you or they fake it and mislead you which sucks. I'd much rather not have sex and think I couldn't please a woman than think I'm great in bed and be terrible like a lot of guys are. I once read that 65% of women DON'T have orgasms and I wouldn't want to be a man that is part of that 65% that's not pleasing women. My cousin is always bragging about how he sleeps with a bunch of girls even though he has a girlfriend and it pisses me off. I feel pressured to get a girlfriend because I feel like my family will start to think I'm gay, not that theirs something wrong with that if that's who you are. I want to go to college and get on the basketball team but when I took a class I felt so out of place because I missed out on a lot of teaching that couldv'e helped but I don't want to have a minimum wage job all my life I want to make a lot of money. Even now, all I do is wake up and watch t.v., go on the internet or play my PSP. My mom tells me that I need to get a job but it's hard to get up and look for work when you barely leave the house. I'm not afraid to work and if someone in my family needs help with something like moving then I help but it's hard to go looking by myself. I can't even walk down the street without being paranoid and worrying what people think about me, in the past I didn't care but ever since I moved I've been like this. I look at my yearbook from freshman year and sometimes I tear up because my life is a mess. I want to help my mom and I do pay (more...)

I'm sure they all now think the Celtics are beatable and nothing more than a bunch of wannabe thugs with a crappy bench. In college football, don't you think a playoff would take a little away from the regular season as well? The games was less meaning, depending what kind of playoff were talking. Most of these kids are on vacation for the first time ever. A week's worth of fun gets interupted by a football game. After a 4-5 week layoff, most of these teams resemble spring practice more than they do the sharpness of their late season games. I think it is very similar to the NFL's Pro-Bowl, more like an exhibition than anything. I find myself asking, " What the hell is wrong with these guys" more than I'm into most of these Bowl Games. OK, I think this is a really original idea that would not fix the BCS but make it better and it includes a bit of a playoff but does not effect how many games teams play. I call it the "BUSHELL MINUS ONE SYSTEM" trademark pending. Here we go, first off you need 4 FCS teams who have been contracted by the BCS to play on the last weekend of the regular season IF NEEDED, lets say a $700,000 payment per team (the amount LSU payed Appalachian State to change their schedule and play on the road without a previous agreement being made, essentially any FCS team would bite on that). Every FBS team schedules a non conference game as the last regular season game, this would mean pushing rivalry week back one week but it is not the date that is important it is the teams, you have 3 or more non-conference games no matter what so this is not changing anything fundamental. The top 4 teams in the BCS play a neutral sight game 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3 (two teams from the same conference can not play each other) during the last week with the FCS teams filling in the spots emptied by those teams who are in the Minus 1 games. The winners of those games are BCS title game bound AS LONG (here is the part that makes this fun) as they win their conference championship game, this is of course if they have one. What this does is satisfy all those teams ranked #5 who are saying they should have had a shot because if one of the BCS bound teams lose they get in Polls permitting. BAMN %90 of the controversy is gone. In case you are wondering it is called Minus 1 is because you lose a regular season game to do this. In the end what did I do: -I did not add or remove any games to the schedule in either FCS or FBS, unless you want another game AKA a Big Ten team could not schedule a game that week to get its magical 13th game that the SEC gets if it was title bound -Got rid of most of the pretenders AKA how many people would have wanted Ohio State the last few years to play a title contender down the stretch to truly see how good they are before putting them in the title game -Forced a SEC team to play a real non conference game HA HA HA -Closed the gap between conferences who have playoffs and those who don't because if you are #5 to #8 you want a conference title game to protect your 5th place and/or have a chance to leap frog another team while they are sitting neutral. However if you are a 1 to 4 you don't want one because it is an extra risk. -Added TWO very exciting games to the schedule instead of the usual non conference garbage -Made it so that in most seasons the BCS title teams are not at larges or at least one of the teams earned the spot Long story short this is not perfect but it would make the NCAA more money, simplify the BCS picture down the stretch and it keeps all bowl games intact. P.S. A #5 vs #6 game during minus week could also be added as a replacement if one of the minus 1 winners lose their conference title game SnapDr. - I know this is a long post but this is not a playoff per say and does not change ANY bowl structure. It is a scheduling system that helps the BCS choose the best teams more often. Rob J. - The minus one games may not even need to be designated as bowls at all, besides the BCS/TV networks want more bowls because they generate more money greedy buggers. Brother - The NCAA just announced that the FCS playoff finals are being moved into January and that the other details are still be worked out. The 2010/2011 FCS Championship game will be held in January. Plus you can play teams that are not in the playoffs , like I said it is a money ticket for any team willing to play a shotgun game JUST LIKE appalachian state did this year. Brother - I did note a possibility of a 5 vs 6 game as just a note. Dude you are taking this way to seriously, this is just a idea I had on the spot. I love Bowl season, and people always say who is the best teams and best conference during the bowl season. But... If Alabama played Utah for NCG, I say it is a different outcome. This happens every year, some teams have more to play then others and are more motivated. use this game for example... Bama had a chance to play for NCG, they do not make it, so now they are playing in a game that is useless for them. Utah comes in wanting to show how good they are. The motivation is on 2 different levels. Same with Tech this year, they could be playing in a BCS game but end up in a regular bowl. Brad- I agree it is the coach to motivate, and there is no excuse of losing. But I played sports for almost 30 years. I played in leagues where we should have been in finals and lost in semi finals, so we would be in consolation game. The game felt so useless we had no motivation. winning meant we are the 3rd best team when we should have been 1st. It does not give an excuse not to try hard but it is human nature and feels like a failure of a season matt- I am saying the bowl games, not regular season. You get 2 teams on 2 different wave lenghts motivation wise. FYI... I was rooting for Utah so not making excuses here. And I bet Miss so wasn't rooting for TT And a playoff would solve it all.
