Resolved Question: About living in Idaho?
I got the state travel guide, but I want the real scoop. Based on average temps, I think Southwestern (Boise) or South Central (Twin Falls) are where I'd want to live. We would need to live in or near a largish city. My husband works with elevators and I work in technology support. How are winters there? I'm from Wisconsin so you can be honest with me. It can't be worse, can it? How are summers? Are they humid or dry? What about bugs? Is it also known as the "skeeter state?" How windy is it? Rainfall, snowfall? What's the worst part about living there? What are things you don't want to do or say there? What kind of music do natives listen to? I don't want to hear all the rosy stuff, I want to know the worst Idaho has to offer so I can make an informed choice. And speaking of which, how are interracial marriages perceived? I live in Kuna Idaho,(although i spend a lot of my time in Boise Idaho, there are both in the Treasure valley) and I really want to start a band. But, everyone at my highschool SUCKS. I mean, i dont care if your not that good but i mean, they REALLY SUCK. im not looking for niel peart of jimmy page but i mean, well, they suck super bad, and that is the few people that "play instruments" i struggle to find someone who plays and instrument, then it turns out they suck! so i say to myself, well i guess if they try they can get better, so i try to start something with them and they are all music nazi's!! they all have their one tiny genre of music (grunge, classic rock, emo) and they absolutely REFUSE to play or write anything else! also, im only 15, so i cant drive yet, but im taking drivers ed right now so i will be able to next Jan. and i suppose for a bonus question ive been trying to get my brother to practice his bass to be in the band but just doesnt practice enough! help!?!? lol ok i know flyers could i perhaps get something a little more creative? Resolved Question: Obnoxious loud snoring?
I'm in a hotel room with my mom and my grandma (we're all in Boise for a conference thing)...both of them are snoring REALLY loud (like, chainsaw loud), hence the reason I'm on Y!A in the middle of the night. I have to wake up in 2 hours...should I just stay awake until then? I haven't been able to sleep all night. What would you do? I have to put up with this tomorrow night, too! I don't know if I can take it! I haven't gotten any sleep in like 4 days because of this! Is there a way to block out REALLY loud snoring? I'm at my wit's end!
