Open Question: Is Dr. Brian Kerr of Boise a good choice for the SmartLipo (Smart Lipo) procedure?
Hi. I didn't get an answer last time, so I'll give it one more shot.
I'm from Boise, Idaho and I saw an ad for SmartLipo (Smart Lipo). My friend from Santa Monica had it done and she looks great. I don't want to go to California to get SmartLipo, so I'm looking for someone local. The ad I came across was for Dr. Brian Kerr of Silk Touch Laser and Medspa. Has anyone heard anything about this doctor? Any good or bad experiences? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Resolved Question: Do you think that it is fair that USC makes the rose bowl every year and blows out the big ten?
I've been looking at usc's schedule and they havent played any top ten teams besides the weak big ten. I know that they are a great team but they need to step up to the challenge and vs. great team like texas oklahoma florida and texas tech do every year. I think that they need to add a high caliber team like tcu or boise state to vs usc. tell me what you think about it

Resolved Question: College Football, Conference Realignment?
In order to have 6 Conference Championship Games and more money through those CG's. Plus we won't have to hear about how the 12 team conferences have such a harder road to travel. The non-BCS teams will adjust, and at least after this shift don't have to worry about getting picked from again. I'm more interested in whether you think it's a good idea than a realistic possibility, I know it ain't gonna happen.
What do you think?
SEC- Stays the Same
East Division
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
West Division
Mississippi St.
Ole Miss
Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn
LSU
Big 12- Stays the same
North Division
Colorado
Nebraska
Kansas St.
Kansas
Iowa St.
Missouri
South Division
Oklahoma St.
Oklahoma
Texas Tech
Baylor
Texas A&M
Texas
ACC- adds South Florida and East Carolina becasue both schools fit perfectly into the ACC geography, just look at the map, the fewer travel expenses the better. Virginia Tech and Boston College go back to the Big East.
Atlantic Division
Maryland
Wake Forest
North Carolina St.
Clemson
Florida St.
*South Florida
Coastal Division
*East Carolina
Virginia
Duke
North Carolina
Georgia Tech
Miami
Pac-12- adds Utah and BYU, a great rivalry. The Pac 12 could possibly add Boise State and Hawaii instead.
North Division
Washington
Washington St.
Oregon
Oregon St.
*Utah
*BYU
South Division
California
Stanford
UCLA
USC
Arizona
Arizona St.
Big 10- ignore the name. It adds it's longtime welcomed guest Notre Dame and Central Michigan. Penn State joins the Big East.
North Division
*Central Mich.
Wisconsin
*Notre Dame
Mich. St.
Michigan
Minnesota
South Division
Illinois
Northwestern
Purdue
Indiana
Ohio St.
Iowa
Big East- Adds the NYC market with Army, the Balt-DC market with Navy and adds one of the best rivalries in College Football. By adding BC and VT it adds the Boston Market, and two rivals who already are familiar with the Big East and rikindles those rivalries. Penn State also adds and excellent team and renews the Pitt-Penn game which was once a major rivalry.
North Division
Syracuse
*Boston College
Connecticut
*Army
Rutgers
*Penn State
South Division
West Virginia
*Virginia Tech
Louisville
*Navy
Cincinnati
Pittsburgh
Any rivals that find themselves in seperate divisions can solve this with a permenant rival like Pitt-Penn State, Army-Navy, ND-Purdue, Minn-Iowa and Mich-Ohio State. Whatta ya think?

Open Question: Are bowl games stupid?
I know its all for the money but its ridiculos...teams like Utah or Boise will never have the shot of winning a championship....a 16 team playoff would be soo much more exciting i mean look at the first round matchups....
1 Oklahoma vs 16 Virginia Tech (it would be Georgia but u need the
ACC Winner)
8 Texas Tech vs 9 Boise State
5 USC vs 12 Cincinnati
4 Alabama vs 13 Oklahoma State
6 Penn State vs 11 TCU
3 Texas vs 14 Georgia Tech
7 Utah vs 10 Ohio State
2 Florida vs 15 Oregon
Im saying this to all College football fans but wouldnt these 8 games just be amazing to watch? better then the Pappajohns and MagicJack Bowl...have all those sponsers be sponsers for these games...its jus dumb seeing bowl games

Resolved Question: What college should I attend?
Help! I don't know where to go to school. I want to major in Political Science and get a good job in a competitive field. Here are my choices:
San Francisco State- in-state, cheaper tuition, not a prestigious school
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo: not a great location but cheaper tuition
University of Nevada, Reno: out of state tuition, good school
Boise State University: tuition break, far from home (not such a bad thing:)
University of Connecticut: EXPENSIVE and far from home, but it is a great school and will open up more doors.
Do schools really matter when looking for jobs and internships? I live in California and I have a cumulative 3.76 gpa, and a 1760 SATs. Any suggestions?? THANKS

Resolved Question: Can you help me understand my horses race history?
I know little to nothing about the art and science of horse racing. Can anyone help me understand what all of this imformation on my horses race history is? I get the basics, where he raced, how he placed, how much he won etc but what I am specifically looking for is;
#of Track: I know what the tracks listed are (he raced in Boise Idaho and Portland Oregon) but what are the numbers before the tracks. He has 1-4 listed before the Boise track and 6 listed before the Portland track. Are these post positions?
Between #of track and distance: they all say ft except for one that says sy
Splits: Look like time values but for what?
Type: he has CLM, MCL and MSW listed.
Points of Call: A main number followed by a a superscript number then a fraction.
Between weight and first three finishers a list of numbers ranging from 2.80 to 49.60
I know that he was pretty bad, he raced for 2 years with career earnings of $826.
Any help would be appreciated, just for my own curiosity. Thanks!

Resolved Question: How good do you think Boise State is?
I hate asking this question early and jinxing them. But the way this game is going right now, Boise State needs to schedule some good nonconference teams to show that they can play the game and deserve to be in the BCS talk. Their closest win this season was 5, the next is 13. They beat a ranked fresno state by 51 points and beat a ranked Oregon by 13. They beat OU last season, and even if they lose this bowl game, they are giving the #11 TCU alot more trouble than I think people expected. It looks like they can play in the big games when the pressure is on.
What do you think of Boise State?
Boise is like a division 2 team? That makes a lot of sense, good call
i would give them a win vs. every SEC team except Florida and maybe Alabama, they are all overrated (Georgia, LSU really? Tennessee hahah, who else is even in that conference oh yeah Auburn again haha, Ole Miss another powerhouse). And you are right, they dont play any good teams, but they beat them all by 30-40 points. Im not even a boise fan by the way. Take your head out of your SEC biased *** and watch football every once in a while.
Just so I dont leave out your Favorite "powerful" SEC team, Vanderbilt? Miss St? Kentucky? Arkansas? now you got me rolling The rest arent even worth mentioning
You should have your dyslexia checked out. If you dont know what that means i suggest webMD. And yea a TCU team ranked higher than every SEC team with the exception of Bama and the Gators
Poor Boise State... Can't do that to get respect

Resolved Question: Would this system for a college football play-off work?
my idea of how college footballs play-off system would work..I'm gonna use the standings from this season..that might make it easier to understand..
first off: EVERYBODY needs to have divisions in their conference..(Big10, Big East, Pac-10, Mountain West, WAC and Sun-Belt all don't have divisions)
second: put the independents in a friggin conference..(for the purpose of showing how this will work I'm putting Navy in the Sun Belt)
ACC: Virginia Tech(9-4,5-3), Boston College(9-4,5-3)
Big12: Oklahoma(12-1,7-1), Missouri(9-4,5-3)
BigTen:Penn State(11-1,7-1), Ohio State(10-2,7-1)
SEC:Florida(12-1,7-1(technically8-1)), Alabama(12-1,8-0(technically8-1))
Pac-10:USC(11-1,8-1), Oregon State(9-3,7-2)
Big East:Cincinnati(11-2,6-1), Pittsburgh(9-3,5-2)
Mountain West:Utah(12-0,8-0), TCU(10-2,7-1)
C-USA:East Carolina(9-4,6-2), Tulsa(10-3,7-1)
*Sun Belt:Navy(8-5), Troy(8-4,6-1)*
*MAC:Buffalo(8-5,5-3), Ball State(12-1,8-0)*
WAC:Boise State(12-0,8-0), Hawaii(7-6,5-3)
The conferences with the worst overall win percentage are excluded from the playoffs..this will, in theory, make teams more interested in playing teams in other conferences and set up some intense match-ups(could you imagine how great it would've been if Florida and Oklahoma had played in the regular season?)..So the Sun Belt and MAC are out this season..
That leaves 18 teams..9 of which won their conference..So first off we separate these 18 into 2 groups..the champions and the non-champions..then they get seeded..this is based off of the overall record and strength of schedule(for sake of time and not wanting to check the sos I'm gonna just place them wherever)..The top 3 seeds will have bye's
Group A-The Champions
#1 seed-Utah
#2 seed-Oklahoma
#3 seed-Florida
#4 seed-Boise State
#5 seed-PennState
#6 seed-USC
#7 seed-Cincinnati
#8 seed-VTech
#9 seed-ECU
Group B-The Runner-Ups
#1 seed-Alabama
#2 seed-Ohio State
#3 seed-TCU
#4 seed-Tulsa
#5 seed-Missouri
#6 seed-Boston College
#7 seed-Oregon State
#8 seed-Pitt
#9 seed-Hawaii
So the group A matchups would be
4 v 9 Boise State v ECU
5 v 8 PennState v Virginia Tech
6 v 7 USC v Cincinnati
Utah has a bye
Oklahoma has a bye
Florida has a bye
And group B matchups would be
4 v 9 Tulsa v Hawaii
5 v 8 Missouri c Pittsburgh
6 v 7 Boston College v Oregon State
Alabama has a bye
Ohio State has a bye
TCU has a bye
The system is one-and-done..lose and your season is over..win and your one step closer to the national title..
#1 seed plays winner of 6v7
#2 seed plays winner of 5v8
#3 seed plays winner of 4v9
So..this is how it would look so far(in my opinion)
GroupA
#1 Utah v #6 USC
#2 Oklahoma v #5 PennState
#3 Florida v #4 Boise State
Group B
#1 Alabama v #7 Oregon State
#2 Ohio State v #5 Missouri
#3 TCU v #4 Tulsa
Those 6(3 in each 'division') games would be played..The highest surviving seed would then get a bye while the other 2 teams plays to see who would be opposite them in the semi-final game..
So here's the breakdown of that
Group A
#3 Florida v #6 USC
Oklahoma(#2) has bye
Group B
#2 Ohio State v #3 TCU
Alabama(#1) has bye
winner of quarterfinal moves on the play in semi-final(duh)
#2 Oklahoma v #3 Florida
#1 Alabama v #2 Ohio State
winners or those games play each other for national title..higher ranked team is "home" team(although game will be played on neutral field..)If both are same number than coin toss prior to game will determine who is 'home' team..
#1 Alabama v #3 Florida
#3 Florida is national champ..
This would take up about as much time as the bowl season does..so it wouldn't be all that much of a change to the season..and there could be some kind of consolation to the tams that participated..and a bonus to the teams that were in the title game and a bigger one to the winner..and a couple spare dollars here and there for all of the teams(with winning records) in the conference of the champion..
