Open Question: for those of you who are teacher and parents i was wondering...?
what do you consider before taking a teaching job? im sure even though you don't get THAT much you would still like a good paying job possibly a nice neighborhood yes? do you give any thought to the quality of schools that your children would be attending if you took a certain teaching job? i ask because i absolutely love my sons headstart teachers i wish he could stay a couple more years and im not so thrilled about him going to any of the neighboring schools but i was thinking maybe i am not giving th other teachers and schools enough credit after all the teachers i love and adore send their children to the same schools im going to have to choose for me son what are your thoughts on that?

Open Question: SO confused about my best friend...?
I've known her since elementary school, and now we're both in college. We used to be neighbors, and spent a lot of time together growing up. Even when she moved out of my neighborhood we still hung out a lot. Then, a couple of years ago she gets a boyfriend. At first I'm supportive, but then the guy starts acting like a jerk and I tell my friend. She gets mad and we barely speak for an entire year. Finally, we talk it all out and are on good terms again...except she never calls me, or answers my calls - even when there's an emergency (it flooded recently in my area, and she didn't even call to see if I was okay). I don't know what to do, she's like a sister to me but it's like she's taking me for granted. She's always super nice and fun when ever I am able to talk to her, but I just feel like she's ignoring me almost constantly. Should I talk with her about this, or will it start another year-long argument?

Open Question: How can I contribute to my neighborhood through community service?
Contributing To Neighborhood Through Community Service Essay.?
The question is:
"How can I contribute to my neighborhood through community service?"
This is what I have already:
I can contribute to my neighborhood through community service by being a role model to the youth. I can contribute to my neighborhood through community service also by creating a "Think Squad." The Think Squad will be an eco-friendly program in partnership with my community. It will be from 6:00-7:30 PM at the community center. The Think Squad will deliver recycle bins to everyone in the neighborhood for awareness about Global Warming and recycling. I can contribute to my neighborhood through community service by doing community service in my neighborhood in general. I can tutor students, have fundraisers, help out in schools near my neighborhood, volunteer in
churches, volunteer in local homeless shelters, create a donating group to donate books to schools, and school supplies. I can teach students right from wrong, encourage them to do their best and to dream big.
Please help me add stuff, take off stuff.
Help me make it sound very good.
Thank You.

Open Question: Which school should I go to...really important!!?
So. I started grade 7 in the fall, at my district (or neighborhood) junior-high. I really liked it, but last month I had a falling out with friends and now am not enjoying school at all. I want to start fresh next year and will be going to a different school. I think I want to either go to one of two school, but I'm not sure which. I still need to go to open houses, and maybe even a shadow day, but this is the info I have so far.
School #1
It is a Kindergarten to 9 school and grades 7,8 and 9 are girls only. I think I might like all girls because guys only add stress and drama They wear uniforms, which I don't think is so bad because it takes some pressure off of your clothes.I don;t know anyone at this school, and it's two bus rides or a 15 minute drive away. Apparently, the specialize in leadership and academics and have like 2 field trips a month.
School #2
This school is grade 7-12 and 1 bus ride and 10 minutes away. I do dance after school at this school (they have a dance school inside it) and they have a program where I could do regular school in the morning, and then do a few dance classes in the afternoon. I would still have to do some dance classes after school too. It is a guy and girl school, no uniforms. This put some pressure on, especially when I'm going into this with no friends and I know nobody at this school. They also have special AP or honors classes for junior high students, and I have a 96 average so I could get into them. The kids in the dance program are literally years ahead of me in dance, and you have to audition and I don't know if I would get in. And even if I did, it would be soo challenging.
I just would like to know which sounds better,
Thanks
