Simple meditation involves sitting and watching the breath. Simply let the breath come and go naturally either focusing on the whole of the lungs or being aware of the more subtle sensations around the nose. Each time the mind wanders, bring it back to the breath in a gentle and relaxed way. Focus at the movement of the stomach, up and down with the breathing. The breath may directly link the conscious and subconscious mind. It reflects emotions, and with stressed becomes fast and irregular. When relaxed it slows down and becomes smooth. By bringing breathing into the conscious mind and altering our breathing, we can influence our emotions. To regain control over any reduce emotional problems, simply breathe in while counting to 7 and breathe out more slowly, counting to 11. This activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which aids relaxation. Focus on the numbers moves brain activity away from the right hemisphere (emotional) to the left hemisphere (logical) in the brain. This technique alleviates anxiety and can be used in three minutes, discretely in public. The bad habits we will work on may include: smoking, drinking and weight ...the other ones can wait ... But the key to success with RP is that we do it ...not for ourselves... but for someone else that we care about ... who will feel some personal benefit ...from the example that we can show them for health with weight control. Question: Think deeply and to find someone who will benefit from your success in weight control ...think deeply ... and do RP ... not just for yourself ... but for them! I have a feeling that when it is their own, real blood being bashed out of them, they'd be a little quicker to find a way to talk it out. No weapons permitted of course, all by hand, men & women. They could draft in their clergy, clerics, and other officials such as mayors/governors/councillors etc as subs, equal numbers, one on ones or tag teams possibly. I claimed for my partner in Feb 08 for DLA. They lost all his paperwork and I had to redo forms in March 08. They said that the date would be backdated back to the original stamp date for Feb not March once he had been approved for DLA. He got his DLA approval at the end of May and I have spent ever since trying to get them to backdate for the extra month. I have had months now of chasing and phonecalls and sending letters/ emails/ faxes with the front sheet being told it will be resolved. Nobody has, not advisors/ supervisers/ team leaders 'and no one seems to understand why I have had such problems and will call back that afternoon'..... They never do. The last person that was spoken to at Xmas said they doubted we would get it back dated because it needs to be dealt with in the 3 months from the original claim!!! GRRR - which I have and they haven't. I am ready to kill and want to go straight to the top and bring them down now. I am so sick sick sick of this and would like to know if people know who the heads/ directors of the DLA are so I can go straight to them along with the local MP and the ombudsman service tomorrow. I say that both the offensive and defensive (specifically, the goalie) positions are equally important and can buffer and strengthen each other while he states that the position of goalie is the most important aspect of the game. Currently?in our Higher Education Mega Center, the most crucial problem is the conflict between the Hot Water Company and students. As the Hot Water Company wanted to increase the price of the water supplies, it caused extreme displeasure among the students groups. Without achieving the desired objectives in pricing, the hot water company decided to shorten the time for water supplying as well as lover the temperature of the water supply. Obviously, this decision aroused resentment among the students. Some students posted messages on the BBS to raise the heated discussion and complaints about the Hot Water Company. And there were others published the phone numbers of the Hot Water Company on the campus forum, to mobilize everyone to launch condemning calls. Some even suggested a procession in front of the company headquarter building. As a student in this group, I have clearly been involved in this incident. No fence, but the solutions we used to resolve conflicts are irrational, childish and impulsive. As my point of view, we should change our positions as a non-organized group, everyone complains as an individual to the Hot Water Company, it's very hard to form a force. Therefore, we must contact other schools? student councils, let them elect a representative to represent the group, representing every last one of the students in the group to negotiate with the Hot Water Company. Secondly, before every individual school's representative starts to negotiate with the hot water company, we must have prepared a survey, using the majority as a primary core for the case. Even if it didn't return to normal, most of the students will accept the change of situation, including time for water supply, and price for water supply. In the year 2009 the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in England and said, ?Once again, the earth has become wicked and over populated, and I see the end of all flesh before me. Build another ark and save two of everything along with a few good humans?. He gave Noah the CAD drawings, saying, ?You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights? Six months later, the lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard but no Ark. Noah! He roared, I?m about to start the rain! Where is the Ark? ?Forgive me lord,? begged Noah, ?but things have changed. I needed Building Regulations Approval and I?ve been arguing with the Fire Brigade about the need for a sprinkler system. My neighbours claim that I should have obtained Planning Permission for building the Ark in my garden because it is a development site, even though in my view it is a temporary structure. We had to then go to appeal to the Secretary of State for a decision. The he Department of Transport demanded a bond to be posted for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions to clear the passage for the Arks move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us but they would hear nothing of it. Getting wood was another problem. All the decent trees have Tree Preservation Orders on them and we live in a site of Special Scientific Interest set up in order to protect the spotted owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls ? but no go! When I started gathering the animals, the RSPCA sued me. They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They argued the accommodation was too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space. Then the County Council, the Environment Agency and the Rivers Authority ruled that I couldn?t build the Ark until they had conducted an environmental impact study on your proposed flood. I?m still trying to resolve a complaint with the Equal Opportunities Commission on how many disabled carpenters I?m supposed to hire for my building team. The Trades Unions say I can?t use my sons. They insist I have to hire only accredited workers with Ark building experience. To make matters worse, Customs and Excise seized all my assets, claiming I?m trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species. So, forgive me lord but it will take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark.? Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky.
