Open Question: 16 year old dude lookin for a car?
yeah I'm 16 years old and looking diligently for a car, i want something cool, cause every chick likes a dude with a cool car. i saw a Pontiac Firebird that i really liked, but i don't know if the price is good for a 16 year old like me. are there any other cars that i can get relatively cheap, that i can beat up, and are really cool? probably not but still. and plz don't say that i should get a piece of crap car just cause I'm 16. below are a few links to cars i found, which ones are best? and what are your suggestions on what i should look for? thanks.

Resolved Question: Is it wierd for a girl like me to love muscle cars?
I'm a girl and I'm legally blind and can't drive as a result, but I have a passion for muscle cars. I love Mustangs (except for the ugly 1973-1978 ones or the 1984-86 SVO); Chevy SS, Camaros, Firebirds, Chargers, etc. Does anyone have a favorite muscle car? How can I find model muscle cars to put together?
What attracts me about muscle cars is their shapes and curves like a hot, sexy, muscular dude; the engines that purr like satisfied lions and rumble like thunder; and the way people trick them out sometimes with paint jobs and (appropiate) sized rims. (those rims on some cars make them look like they're wearing floodpants! I once saw a mid-1970's Mustang that looked nice and shiny- except for its outrageously sized rims! Yick! I think that's tacky.) One of my exes had a 1986 5.0, in great shape with just a dent in the passenger door, which his stupid a** totalled by driving recklessly. When I first rode in it, I loved how smooth the ride was, the smooth shift in gears without the jerking, and that unique 5.0 sound. Something about muscle cars gives me a thrill and a chill up my spine. They are sexy!
I'll be checking eBay and the other places suggested. Thanks!
Btw, he survived that accident with cuts and bruises, thank goodness. I'm not that callous. I just loved his car.

The song says something about mercedes, cadillacs and firebirds. I searched for a while with no results, it sounded like an older song. Any ideas?

Resolved Question: verizon yahoo email receiving isues on vista windows email?
I have a verizon.yahoo.net email account that was working fine prior to setting up my new dell with vista. I can send email, but receiving is unpredictable, works sometimes, most times the email client times out, (no file attachments). It appears as if messages are receiving, but the program will time out before the messages are loaded. Hours later when checking email, the messages appear. I'm getting the run around from verizon, dell and microsoft. I feel confident the incoming/outgoing mail settings are correct. They are the same as worked with 98SE setup. I've tried downloading other email clients, Mozilla Firebird with same results. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Resolved Question: 91 Firebird problems again!?!?!?
ok i have posted on here like 3 times with diffeent problems with my 91 Firebird 3.1l v6 basically about a week ago it sarted over heating it only has 80000 miles it always had a rough idle never stalled or failed tp start. now it wont start and 3 days before that it began stalling at red lights and stop signs, now when i try to start it rediculous amounts of oil prob 3 quarts worth begins to pour out of the back part of the engine and white smoke comes out of the exhaust. it just got towed today and was wondering what the labor charge and round about price it would be to fic the main head gasket, thats what i was told it might be but i dont think this could be the result of all the probems, the rough idle the stalling and over heating always had the rough idel for 2 years since ive had it, any help or advice on wether this could be all this is would be appreciated thanks in advance!!
and it was looked at by 4 different mechanics before i got it 2 years ago and nothing was found even though they did miss the fact that i had a baseball size hole in the fuel tank and the fact i am still only getting about 9 mi per gallon, and it just passed an inspection last month with nothing found at all with the car other than tires lol, cant see how this is possible!!! usually mechanics find anything possible wrong with the car but who knows how they can miss something like this, actually told me the car was in perfect condition considering it was kept in a garage for the past 6 years before i got it.

Resolved Question: 91 Pontiac Firebird Stalling upon stopping???
91 pontiac Firebird 80000 miles runs great until recently i have put 4500 into it from fuel tank exhaust and transmission, it is an automatic 3.1l v6, it has been overheating lately, still driveable but it is now stalling upon stopping at red lights or slowing down, and rough start where rpm's jump during start. it has always had a rough idle where rpms kinda move alittle, had it looked at a dozen times with no results, it has never stalled once or failed to start in the 3 years i have owned it, not sure what to do, any suggestions on what it might be if its doable my self i am pretty good with working on it and have done most of the work my self, oil filter does need changed but cant see how this could cause this to happen, any tips or suggestions will help me greatly thanks!!

Resolved Question: Where will I be able to find the version of the song "Firebird Suite" that is on Disney's Fantasia?
I tried looking on iTunes, but all I got was confusing results because there seems to be too many parts to the ballet. All I want is the nine minute version shown on Disney's Fantasia 2000. You know, the cartoon with the lady who makes all the flowers grow? Anyways, I was trying to find maybe a Fantasia 2000 cd or something but that doesn't seem to exist (what? Disney DOESN'T have merchandise for something?) so I was wondering if ANYONE knows if the version on Disney is part 1 or 2 or 6 of the Firebird Suite?? Cause I can't seem to find that nine minute version anywhere.

Resolved Question: What's wrong with my 99 Firebird Formula?
The car just stopped cranking one day. It turns over, but doesn't fire up. Every once in awhile, you can get it to start and it runs strong after that...most of the time. There was one time I got it started and the transmission was going haywire, which led me to believe this was all a PCM problem. Anyway, a few mechanics told me it was probably fuel pressure problems. So, I changed the fuel filter and still got no result. I don't have a lot of money so before I go replacing the fuel pump, I'd really like to know about some free things I could check first. or at least give me an idea where to start. I also though cam or crank sensor...but once again...I don't have money to replace everything i suspect.

Resolved Question: Pontiac Firebird V8 ... got headgskets replaced... safety measures?
head gaskets blew out.. had new ones put in place... mechanic told me a blown headgasket is the result of some other problem.. what could that other problem be.. and how can i prevent that from happening again? my cooling system is fine they told me
