Open Question: I want to ask my boyfriend to move out or shape up. How do I ask and get the best results?
My boyfriend and I have lived together off and on for 10 months. He doesn't have a job and hasn't had one for 6 months. He was to go to an interview yesterday and decided to sleep instead. He lied to me about it and I came home early and he was at home and left his bus money on the counter. He didn't try to even hide it and basically lied to me as if I'm stupid. He doesn't have a car because he totalled it. He is not close with any friends or family right now so doesn't really have anywhere to go. We aren't having sex often. he rarely kisses me, he tells people we are dating but that I'm not his girlfriend. He does hold my hand, rub my back and cuddle with me in bed. Lately though he isn't sleeping with me at night because he is sleeping all day and then awake all night playing on the computer or watching tv and talking to people on myspace. He does the dishes, laundry, makes the bed and always takes out the trash but other than that I'm not feeling the love and am not getting much out of the relationship. I love him but I don't really like him right now. He complains that I'm a nag and that I'm constantly reminding him what I'm doing for him. He says he's doing the best he can to get a job but I don't believe it. Anytime I try to have a serious conversation with him he says we keep having the same conversation over and over again and becomes silent. I want things to work out but don't see how they can. How can I tell him he needs to move out when he has nowhere to go or how do I tell him what I need him to act differently and get him to actually make an effort or he needs to move out. Since I try talking to him and he either doesn't listen or goes silent I thought writing everything in an email so he can read it and think about it and respond might be good. Any thoughts? Open Question: Can having children be linked to chronic health problems?
ever since having given birth to my first son I experienced a severe decline in my health it all started with stomache issues the eventually started treating me for crohns disease ( did a scope it looked like it but results were inconclusive) then mobility issues athritis, and fibromialga then it was hypoglycema and now its wierd rashes in the summer ( they have no idea what its from even seen a dermatologist) inability to handle heat or cold temperatures.... memory issues, and cognative problems plus I am having all these issues that cause my arms legs and feet to go numb sometims even my face...the dr's have checked me for lupis and it came back negative nw they are sending me for a brain scanin april but its a non contrast one so im not holding my breath!!! I just want my life back .. i cant work in a normal job.. I had to give up running and sports ... I have been chronically ill for 9 years and no one can tell me why or what the heck is really wrong... but they all admit somethings wrong..plus they keep changing my dr so i have to keep tarting all over... anyways has anyone else been going through this??? no matter how much pain im in I get up and liive life anyways...I really jjust want to be able to do the things i love again or at least know what the heck is wrong with me... they have done alot of tests and they just arent getting anywhere with this... YES i have had a psycological evaluation and no im not suffering from anything that would cause me to make all of this up... but it obviously has caused some depression.... its soo fustrating!!! Open Question: An important question on how I should go about telling my partner?
I just found out I was pregnant. My partner has just gotten a new job in Atlanta and moved last weekend. I would have gone with him but I have a lease contract on my own place here along with I have to finish my last classes for my degree before I can go up with him. He is also living with a friend until he finds a place up there. Anyhow so here is my question. I won't be seeing him for a month, should I wait to tell him then in person? Should I call and tell him? He starts a very hard job on monday and don't want to stress him out anymore by knowing I am pregnant and not up there with him. If I call I would doo it tonight so he has the weekend to recover. Or should I go to the doctor and have my pregnancy confirmed and have them give me the results and I will mail them to him? What should I do?? Opinions please? Oh no we really want children we just stopped trying for a while because i had a miscarriage and it was realy hard on the both of us. we never really got back around to trying. but hey we got lucky!!! You say wait till I move with him...that may not be for another 3 months??? (more...)

Open Question: I have a degree, am I underpaid? ?
I have been out of college for 4 years now....I cannot find decent well paid employment! I have tried finding jobs on my own and I have gone through staffing agencies. I seem to get very low offers. My current position is at a property management company in Charlotte. I got this job through a staffing agency. I was mislead to begin with by the recruiter, she made the job sound MUCH better than it really was. I am assuming she just wanted to make her commission and told me what ever she could to get me to take the job. It is an admin position, I can rarely ever get anything else. I spend my days answering complaint phone calls and stuffing envelopes. My employer is VERY cheap and keeps giving me other duties. I do a little accounting, I work with closings, a little of everything in the office. My degree is a B.A. from a liberal arts school. I majored in PR and I have a minor in Theatre. I currently make $13.00 an hour (yes $13.00 an hour, you read it correctly). That is barely enough to pay basic living expenses! I went on salary.com and I searched my job, the results show that I am in the lowest 10% when it comes to pay. The benefits are bad and so is the vacation and sick time. It really makes me angry when I see or hear of a high school grad (or less) getting a great paying job with no degree and no experience! Where can I find a better job or wager to get paid more? Open Question: Parents & Money Trouble Leading to Divorce?
Here's the situation: I worked in my parent?s small electronics business for several years. This work caused me to travel a lot yet I made decent money while traveling. Thus, the work had a love/hate effect on my wife and my marriage in general - this was all fine and manageable. Skip forward a few years, my parents don't like my wife a while lot. They also have told me they think she's a bad influence on our son. All this inter-family tension was bad but really proliferated last summer when I missed our second child's birth because I was away on business and couldn't get back in time. However, the killer wasn't so much that I missed the birth but rather that my parents squandered a lot of the money I made while away on that trip and thus didn't/couldn't pay me the full amount I was due for that work. This coincided, timing wise, with my wife and I moving into a new house. As with anyone moving into a new house, there were a lot of expenses that my travel money was dedicated for ? expenses I couldn?t pay as a result. As for my parents, they only kind-of/sort-of acknowledge any wrong doing and maintain that my greed and pressure from my wife has caused me to expect too much and try and live outside my means and that?s the real problem. Regardless of the money, this has caused a huge rift in my family and my wife has told me she NEVER wants my parents involved in her or our children?s life or she will leave me. Also, given all the above, I'm not able to work with my parents, so I've had to go out and find another job (which has been far lower paying). So atop this family tension, I've got marriage tension, and money tension resulting from these expenses I've had to carry ever sense I didn't receive payment for my travel work and loosing my job my parent?s shop. In summary: My parents have caused a huge financial burden on my family All this has basically caused me to have to choose...be with my family and never see my parents again or loose my wife and keep a relationship with my parents. Open Question: Anyone done a HND/HNC in Buildings Construction?
If you have, how long did it take and were the results worthwhile? Just an idea i'm toying with just now as I lost my job in summer due to downturn in house building, although i'm now working again I was thinking of doing this at the local college but am not sure how beneficial it would be, if atall! I have been working as a residential construction site manager and have the certification etc for that it's just someone was saying that the HNC/HND is more favourable within organisations such as local councils and the likes. More so if applying for positions a building standards surveyors and the likes. (more...)

This is a hypothetical question, I will be exact and honest and you tell me if you would marry me. I am a bright 23yo, I live in the northern suburbs, Adelaide South Australia, and have lots of good qualities about me, and some big downfalls too, but so does everyone. Apperence:, slim, medium length natural blond hair, green eyes, pretty, i wear make up almost every day, i just like to take pride in how i look. Work: i work for a state government MP, as a trainee, i have only 8 months let of the traineeship though and i will be out of work for a couple of mouths or until i can find another job. What I like to do for fun: I like to go bowling, coffee at café?s, eating out at restaurants, cinemas, quiet nights in watching DVDs, I love the beach, though I don?t get to go very often, visiting friends and doing all of the above with them. im not a clubing girl nor do i like partying, I don?t drive yet or have a car but I will be getting one soon, and im starting my p plate driving lessons on Saturday, Yay! About me: I have panic and anxiety disorder, insomnia disorder and I cant really travel long distances, anymore than an hour away from me and I cant do it. my anxiety disorder stops me from doing most things by myself, I cant go into a shopping centre, can?t wait in the car, cant go around the block, I cant go in a couple of isles wile someone waits for me in the shop, etc by myself, iv been in therapy for a year but have come a long way, I am starting to very slowly do things by myself, like I can go into my local shop by myself wile my friend waits in the car or I can go pay bills in the outside shops at my work, but I still have a long journey ahead of me. I have anxiety disorder because I was attacked and robed almost 4 years ago, and that resulted in post traumatic stress, its also because of my mum too. I love animals, I care about things in this world, like helping people, I feel it is so important to help someone who has a problem, it make such I difference in someone?s life if you fix or help with something they can?t. I love giving my time and money to charitable causes, even though I don?t have much. And im just I very bright bubbly person who cares and love everyone around me. So with what you know about me & my anxiety, and other negatives, would you marry me? if you answer this question, you need to put your answer and teel me why. this question is only for men, ow unless your a lesbian then its ok for you to answer. only serious answers please. Open Question: Has anyone ever had to deal with a sociopath or narcissitc person? If so, how did you deal with it!?
There is a girl who has given me nothing but grief for the past 4 years, although when she was away at university and travelling things weren't so bad. She came back about a 10 months ago, and managed to get with my ex (of whom she had pursued for 3 years) and currently appears to be trying to befriend a lot of my friends! She has deleted my number from peoples phones and spread lies about me that has resulted in me getting abuse from people. My ex is no longer with her and is moving away soon for a new job. She now seems intent on becoming part of my social scene despite the fact she has said many times she hates me! She is very manipulative has fooled many people, although she eventually shows her true colours and moves on to a new group of friends. I don't want anything to do with this girl but she seems to determined to get into any group of friends I have. I had to change my circle of friends when she first got with my ex as she made things so difficult for me. Sometimes I feel like I am going crazy! Other people I know have had similar experiences with her, but not to this extreme. Her lack of guilt or remorse for some of the things she has done to people, and her ability to lie so convincingly and manipulate even strong characters makes me wonder if she is actually is a sociopath or at the least a very narcissistic individual. She disregards peoples feelings completely and doesn't appear to have any really close friends. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? If so, what did you do! thank you all for your responses. What ever this girl is she is determined to make me miserable! I will try to stay away although living in a small town makes it hard. Hopefully soon enough every different group of friends she tries to attatch herself to will grow tired of her self obsession and lies. I wish she wan't here so I could feel free to do whatever I want to do without having to check or leave places, but short of running away there isn't much I can do! I shall have a lot of me time on my hands which I guess is good :) (more...)
