Open Question: Fallout 3... Elder scrolls V?
Hey, I haven't yet played fallout 3, but from reviews and videos of it... It looks like a futuristic edition to the elder scrolls series (oblivion)
I've heard they were made by the same people or something like that, although am too lazy to check that out...
Anyway, how close to morrowind for example is fallout 3? Because big world = Good... Big world without easy transport and very hard to navigate terrain along with a terrible map = Bad.
Freedom of play and a completely not linear style of play = Good, but not being able to find out what the hell you're supposed to do = bad.
So come on guys, quell some of my suspicions here, because I bought it and am awaiting delivery and wanna be put at ease.

I want to buy Oblivion for my Xbox 360. I like to do a lot of research before I purchase my games, like asking questions and stuff. So here a few questions I have....
1. How long do you think it will take to beat the enitre game (100%)

I only have low levels on each game right now, so I don't know how the game play is in higher levels. Are there a lot more places to explore other than those mentioned on the map? (ex: caves) Even though people say that the worlds are quite large, I find them to be rather small.
Silkroad- I thought that I liked this game better, but I found so many reviews that rated Perfect World better. Maybe my judgment is too premature to be comparing the two.
Perfect World- I became really bored with this because the world seems so tiny, and there's really not much to do other than quests that take too long for the little amount of experience you get. I also didn't like how some of the mobs appeared. (ex: the flames, they look like 3D cartoons)
Can someone please convince me which is best as I begin to level up?

Resolved Question: Is there a main story to far cry 2?
I have messed around with it for 2-3 hours and I must say it is a pretty awful came compared to the first one so far. It feels like grand theft auto, but a first person shooter and set in Africa. I have been taking missions and nothing to do with any story at all. It is ESPECIALLY annoying when I have to complete a mission on the other side of the map, because getting there takes FOREVER. I definitely can't see how it got a high 8 reviews typically accross the board, I would give it a 5 at best so far lol. Does it get any better? THANKS

Madam Bingalee you got the place absolutely correct. You are also correct about Harlem Globetrotters-- of significant cultural value for that place.
However, most interestingly, this place has great significance for cricket. But, I'll keep quiet about it. Will be back in 6 hours or so.

Resolved Question: How are we to judge the validity of an answer when the Y! system is so overly anonymous?

there are times when people come here and ask ridiculous agenda based questions like recently you can see the one i answered in my profile where some chick is accusing the president of Iran of being a mass murderer in THIS section. apparently she was looking for sympathy mentality because of Iran's executions of gay men. granted Iran has backwards laws but her statements were ridiculous so i decided to reply and correct her. her additional details involved making more ridiculous comments about that "wipe israel off the map" quote which was never actually said by Ahmadinejad.
this prompted me to send her an email where i was very nice saying "you are misguided" etc... and gave her a bunch of explanations about the truth of the silly things she was repeating. i told her she would have to show me a transcript if she wanted me to believe that he had made these comments.
in her reply to me, instead of attempting to justify her stance, she tells me to give her evidence of what i said, followed by telling me she doesnt need "nasty" emails and she would report me if i replied to her, followed by a non-sequitur about her spanking me because women have power in the west.
so i thought: fine i will cite the sources and give her the information she is asking for. she can report me if she wants and go cry about it. apparently the truth was too inconvenient for her because she locked down her profile and Y! goes to the extent of completely isolating her like a bubble child so people can not review her old questions which i also find funny because in her question, i read another response where someone else replied and commented about how her previous question was filled with lies about something else.
granted, people can create anonymous profiles but come on! the avatar shouldnt be uber protected like they are a CIA agent. if you are going to participate in this Y! community in any way, then you are putting your virtual self out there and the other users should be able to review your other other questions and answers in order to judge the validity of your input. no one is making you put a real picture of yourself up or say who you really are but the words of your avatar deserve to be scrutinized.
instead she says "Sorry to hide my answers but I seem to be getting stalked by a couple of sad pro Muslim pro drug idiots who send me abusive messages and constantly give me thumbs downs."
apparently sending 1 polite email on my part constitutes stalking and she cant seem to cope with the fact that everyone is giving her thumbs down because i have never followed her answers to do so. i know that many of you guys are really stalked by these hatemongers in this forum so it makes me laugh that she is crying over the fact that someone pointed out the inconvenient truth to her once :P
i do not like this avatar anonymity. i like to see people make fools of themselves so that we can all throw tomatoes at them in the town square for being dedeedees.
